Agree with Dalzk here's another guy comes to mind http://pantheon.demigodthegame.com/games/player/11216/page/1 I only remember him cuz he was godawful and kept telling me his ranking was bout same as me so my advice in game wasn't needed. Watch out for the tricky patheon stat padders, if you're host you have to do the extr
hehe :D You playing in the tourny Radish? Long time no see.
You want people to stop kicking you, play 15 games, and since you are appaerntly so uber you should easily get to 12-3.
It already is.
At which point, people would stop kicking you. It's NOT OUR PROBLEM - IT'S YOURS.
Yes, its my problem - but its your fault. Anyway enjoy acting like a prick - im sure everyone here on the forums shall enjoy it!!! I just had a game with a player who had a win percentage of 25% and he turned o
This is really, really awesome. Definately gunna play in it - thanks lagwar. However...2v2 crucible? Are you joking. Such a well organised tournament with actual cash prize money is gunna be decided in best of 3 on crucible? No.1 - Its a shit map - most people will agree with this. No.2 - Very unbalanced - Rook towers own it, Erebus's batswarm can save him a looot of time. No.3 - Very Boring - On
I am not going to take the time to investigate everyone's gamelists before kicking them or leaving the lobby. I'll look at games played and win rate and make the decision right then and there.
Thats really being lazy. Your willing to switch Demigod windows to the DG Pantheon site and type in their name. It takes about 3 seconds extra to click "Game List" after that (which you only have to do if they have dodgy stats). If your too lazy for that it would at
Quoting Jorune2112, reply 9Kevin, you know what else would make people stop playing Demigod? When someone hosts a game, picks Erebus and Crucible map, and than, when it appears he's going to lose, the person chooses to exploit the map by batswarming into the enemies base from the side of the 'cooldown flag', capturing the enemies portal, lock and batswarm out. Than batswarming in whenever needed to recap the flag. It circumnavigates the po

Oh well, I think its safe to say the ladders now really dont show who are the "pro's" in Demigod :) Im not going to say that this is the Stardocks fault - the ladder is actually much better then a lot of Gamespy ladders for me and I love all the info and details we get. I think for a competitive/fair ladder we need sites like clanwars.cc to be used. However, when we oppened a Demigod ladder there no one used it so I guess we will go by name and reputation.
the thing is, much of the time there are not enough players for a human vs human pantheon match, and so human vs a.i has to take place if there is to be a decent amount of activity in the pantheon. Players however will just always quit everytime they are vs a.i only if they get no ranking points for it - therefore making pantheon impossible to play/VERY inactive (people mostly play pantheon for the rankings/tournament). Now, I think the fact that players can actually ge
The ladder was reset on June 25th, wasn't it? You haven't played "since the start of beta," you played 'back in beta,' which is to say not within the past four months. If you're getting kicked from games you must be pugging, why not just play pantheon to buid your record back up a bit? It's generally faster than sitting in lobbies and we could use more people in queue. I know it's annoying getting kicked from games, but the ladder season has just be
Yea i understand why stun immunity was placed in, I am addressing the fact that your own team can break a stun on an opponent. That does not seem intentional and seems very much connected to an error in the stun immunity's implementation.
Not sure if it is intentional or not but it does require more co-ordination within a team and so raisies the skill ceiling of the game - which is needed atm.
Any idea what the rationale behind this being intentional would be? Other then to punish a team for not coordinating their stuns, which seems unlikely To me it seems more like an error in the coding of stun immunity. I would just like some clarification that this is intentional.

However, it seems to me that the cause of this glitch is the game's method of preventing stuns. The character is immune to the second stun, so stun effects are stripped
Just started playing again and have been kicked many times by players because my stats show I have only played 16 games (due to Epoch reset). I have in fact played Demigod since the start of Beta. Note to people: Before deciding someone is noob because of their stats, check their game list. You will find people have joined "Only Pro" games and so have a harder time winning games and may have a lower win percentage.
Yes what Shiro_Sol said. For example if you have two rooks on your team, they both boulder roll an opponent at the same time, the opponent does not get stunned.
Does this really happen? Its not meant to and I dont think it does...do you have a replay where this occurs?
Auto-Attack Reg is really under-rated. If you do the build right and have decent micro with him you can be really deadly. Its all about the crit stacking. Advantages Mana Management is literally zero - very easy to play without worrying much about mana. Towers/Buildings = owned by this build. Probably one of the best builds out there for taking out towers. Critical Hits - If you do this build right, you can get REALLY high damage on enemies.
Hmmm can you be more specific? If your talking about stun immunity then if someone is stunned for 2 seconds, they cannot be stunned for another 2 seconds after getting stunned. But I dont recall a stun ever "cancelling" a second stun. You have a replay of this? (can finally use replays :P )
When you Heavens Wrath creeps you always get the gold...no? (havent played in ages so cant remember)
Finally. If you have a pro replay and want it to get known - this is where you post it.
What bugs does the replay system have?
Indeed, the strategy is in the teamwork. I think Dalzyk is merely pointing out there is limited personal skill required to play DG effectively, it's all about positioning with your teammates and coordinating your attacks rather than requiring high APM. But maybe this begs another question: if you can effectively judge the skill level of your players and you have a large enough player pool, does it actually matter whether there are 50 tricks to learn to compete at the t
Skill ceiling is really a matter of opinion. I think the fact I can play Demigod with one hand and still do well sometimes make me feel like that (not the only reason). Its still high enough to make it a playable game but its just lower than I would have liked. When I say it has a low skill ceiling, I am comparing it to games such as CCG, CoH, AoK, SC, WC etc. etc.
The comment was defensive. The whole Demigod is for casual player thing really makes it sound like Demigod
1. It's not dying. There are charts on the number of games being played daily by the number of players and it's remained pretty steady.
Agreed. Whenever I check stats there is always over 1000 people playing the game. There is NOTHING dead about that. Nothing at all....Get concerned when the numbers hit 300.
2. Demigod isn't a "casual" game. However, it is not designed for the hard core either (IMO). It is designed so that gamers can sit down and play it
I dont play it because: 1. I've realised this game was designed for casual gamers. The gameplay reflects this. 2. For a game that is 99% multiplayer oriented, the online features are poor.
I think its a joke they wernt in AGES ago. Its a bit late now for them but better late then never :D
