O, interesting. Not that I'm really surprised, Demigod is the last IP with potential GPG still owns. I wonder how they are going to publish it. I hope it will be a cooperation with Stardock again. Who else thinks the Generals' days are numbered when this goes multiplatform?

Just a little bit of trivia: Microsoft tested and certified Monday Night Combat 4 weeks before the release. All was set, they had their gold version. However, the devs thought they could still improve some things so they renegotiated with MS. They made the improvements they wanted to add and had MS certify the game again. They went through a lot of trouble to make the game as good as possible on release. <a href="http://kotaku.com/5607523/monday-night-combat-the-game-so-nice-t

*removes the dust from his account* MNC looks pretty good although it will be released for the Xbox. I don't have one but there was talk about a PC version by the developers. Hopefully we won't have to wait too long. Xbox owners should check out the demo on XBLA.

A big thank you to Sorian who's doing the patching !
I have also spent a good chunk of this week working on Demigod fixes. Apparently Stardock has sent us a list of bugs they would like to see fixed, and I am happy to oblige. It gives me a reason to kick some AI butt with Demon Assassin on work hours. I did manage to fix a bug that has been bothering me since the last patch, which is nice.

The purrfect excuse to buy a cat Fragboy! Do it, you won't be sorry. The cat will most likely become friends with the mouse though and invite it to dinner in the living room... Maybe if you buy a huge snake instead? [e digicons]:X[/e]

I think there is no other way to keep Pantheon alive in the long run than to allow player of FoL and FoD to play on the same team. If the changes Spooky sugested are implemented Pantheon would greatly profit IMO. The changes to the point system sound like a good idea as well if SD wants to keep the L vs. D system in place.

Favor points from achievements count even against the AI. The achievements don't work properly though. You can only get favor for achievments if you manage to get the achievement in one game. So you would have to kill 50 demigods in the first game with your chosen demigod to get the achievement! Easy enough to do if you plan it properly but you probably can't unlock all achievements. The easiest way to get some favor points fast would probably be to play against your brother though.</

I'd like to register my copy of Demigod on Impulse but it refuses to recogni

BotS is a perfectly valid choice for UB if you go hybrid with full spit. It's harder to play than with BotF because you will really miss the 800HP early game. But obscenitor is right, you can outdamage a BotF UB. You should probably invest in Sigils/health pots to be on the save side though. You can do an insane amount of damage with BotS. I usually go with BotF because it's the save choice but I have seen very effective builds with BotS.

A lot of interesting ideas here. Frogboy, I kinda like:
I was thinking that instead of showing win/loss ratios instead show average favor points per game.
However, as Wallstop already mentioned some support players won't get the amount of favor points they deserve. QoT averages at 56 favor per game atm (4495/80), Sedna 67, while UB is close to 80 and Erebus gets 84 favor per game
I'm absolutely sick of being kicked out of games though, I'd be against showing total games played amongst all epochs.
I see your point obscenitor. Maybe we could instead have something like >500 games showing instead of the full number. Although I doubt that will solve the problem for you obscenitor, too many players know you and are afraid of you. [e digicons][/e]

My idea concernes the online stats overlay. It can be extremely powerful as a tool to balance teams but it might need a little tweaking to do so. So instead of resetting stats every couple of month it might be more useful to display the following stats: number of games played overall (including earlier epochs) win percentage of the last 50 or 100 games This way you have a pretty good idea if somebody is a veteran player and you can see how he has been
