Fences 2.00 Beta update. in Stardock Central Support Stardock Forums

Every time I open in the morning, Stardock Central tells me about the new version of Fences 2.0 Beta update, which is already installed. But because it is now included in Desktop, it will not recognize it. It knows that I have 1.8 Beta and tries to update it constantly. How can I stop this or maybe it's time for an update to Stardock Central?

Everything works just as it should. I think it is totally awesome Scott. Win7HP, x64, Intel [email protected], AMD 5750. The "Suck" and "Distort " options on opening is just way too cool. Thank you for the New Windows FX 5 Beta in Everything Else Stardock Forums

I wanted to say thank you for all the new changes in WindowsFx 5 Beta. Everything works just as it should. I have no problems. Intel i7-860, @2.8GHz, AMD 5750. The "Suck" and "Distort" options on open and close are awesome! Bravo Stardock. You have done it again. You've been telling us about the new Fx for a while and you have lived up to expectations.

I have to say I don't quite understand what you are asking. I have both Win 7 and ObjectDock Plus and don't have the problem. Normally I have my taskbar to auto-hide but I just tried the both. It sounds like your problem is more with Aero that Object Dock, especially when you say "either Windows ..." . That's just MHO. Good luck.

PSE 9, because of it's limitations , can sometimes be a better tool than Photoshop. While I won't be going for the update, it's a great tool for people who just can't get their hands on Photoshop, a cheap alternative. So cheap that some here could benefit from the update. it's about the same price as PSP 13.

I use Avira paid version and it has eaten a lot of gadgets of mine. Do you have yours set to act automatically and quarantine? Can you not restore from the quarantine cache? Can you set an ignore type command? Unfortunately it does happen, especially the older they get, from my own experience. I know this is not much help but I definitely empathize.

I'm sorry but I never use the share system here. nor at DA. The simple reason is art theft. I believe that if someone wants to share their own skins all the power to them, the artist. I don't like the fact that someone can share my works at Facebook and Twitter. IMHO this feature should be improved, make it optional.

I've had "Capping" on "My" Internet for some time now up here in Canada. Montreal to be more specific. I have a fixed rate and I pay for overages. Yes I have, but it's usually due to some automatic background programs like defrag or scans and stuff. Win 7 HP x64 . You might want to check your CursorFx settings to see if things like trails and other choices. I hope this helps.

It seems to be a lot of trouble, especially with the links and solutions proposed. I am with Jafo on this %100. I would steer away from playing with the registry file. Yes you can backup the registry and try to restore it after. I only have one question, WHY?

You have to go into the program file, right click on the .exe file that you want and select properies. Once there you will see a tab for "Icon" You can change it there. It ahould display you Icon Packager Icon Packages. or browse to where you want. It must be in .ico format on Windows. I hope this helps. There may be another way but that's what I do.
