Ok I've erased my previous to edit as suc: I had the same problem concerning the Fire Suite. After applying the theme it installed the IconPackager and Gadgets as well as the WIndowsBlind which was not installed when I nstalled the theme. The problem is the taskbar remains the same but with the Fire icon. It's not skinned as in the preview. Is that beacuse I am running Win 7? </

Will this be available through Impulse for OD Subscibers? If so, when?

See my post https://forums.wincustomize.com/361587 Our goal is to make is so compelling that you want to give us money. SD achieved that goal a long time ago!
AMEN TO THAT!! I guess everything is back. The last work of mine is back in moderation and what was in moderation is no longer there. Are there still issues to remedy?
Gary Make sure it isn't filtered out by the star rating. I had this happen to me after an update. The rating for Aero went below 3 stars and didn't show up. I have my filter set at 0 stars so it won't happen again.
You are a genius my friend, That must be why the name Wizard. That's my birthyear on top of it. Talk about Kismet. :) . I never would have thought about that! Thank you very much.[e digicon
What happened to the Default Windows Aero skin? I can only see the Classic version. The next one is Stardock's Aero Colors. Is this the way it is or is it a bug? I have read the threads but don't see any other of the same nature. Gary
I preordered mine and got it on Friday. Installation took 5 1/2 hours. Maybe I have too many customization and other related programs? LOL Almost 1.1 Million files. Everything works fine. Just trying to figure the relation betwebb the built in themes and Stardock. I feel like a kid with a new toy. YAY :)
There should be an update either today or friday. Complete with some new skins and hopefully the bugs reported here fixed.
Just as you said the latest update did fix the problem. Thank you Neil. I love the new Aero Skinnable skins.
Any timline for the next beta yet ? Unskinned Office 2007 looks ugly...
I agree 100% I've chosen not to use windows blinds as I prefer my peograms as hey should be!
Hi Ever since the last update, all Office 2007 programs crash upon opening. I has something to do woth skinning the Ribbon. I am obliged to set in the per pixel settings to exclude the title bar. This goes for the SnagIt program I won here. The Editor has the same ribbon. But in setting like that it has it's consequences also, the close, minimize button array on the top right is no longer present as well as some blank spots. <span style="font-siz

Thank you for your comments . That's what makes this site great. I've already cut my losses and moved on. Life is too short and there are still many more to make. :) Thank you sydneysiders, vStyler and PoSmedley. I guess I have to learn that not all "Art" will make good wallapapers and from a business point of view I can understand. Oh well I gotta go, got one in the oven now You guys are great.
If im being honest... It's not something I would use as a wallpaper, its too busy and does kinda look like a praying mantis or an earwig in a subliminal way. Id suggest going in a smoother more minimal, less distractive direction, typically folks like a wall to accent a desktop, not overpower it. Keep on trying and good things will happen and as far as walls go, don't submit it until it
or...keep working on it...and submit again after you have done some changes perhaps...
I presume you viewed the wall. That's just the point. I don't see why I should have to. I do also expose my works at DA, Renderosity and Skinbase. I know it does not need changing. I'm just trying to understand why it was not accepted, that's all. Thank you for replying sydneysiders, most kind.
I wanted to know if there are provisions to ask for second revision of wallpapers submitted that we/I feel it wasa severely underated. I've already been threatened with exile because I submiited the same work three times by mistake. I know the standard line of "Well you can always go expose your work elsewhere." But tha's part of my post. I don't think those are ways to respond and I thought surely there must be a way to do this properly. Is there?
have you tried resetting the data in Impulse?
Yeah several times. But good news. After 5 restarts and 6 reenetering the key code it finally worked. Now how come I didn;t think of that before? LOL Thank you Bichur and Dash. Dash I did save a copy of your post if ever it hppens again.
Try as I might I cannot download this new theme, No problem entering serial number in both Impulse and MyColors but when It always shows download failed. It is in the registration cache with the proper seiral number; music 411<
I was tying it out this morning. It is awesome. I had made a fractal dream that I use on my desktop sometimes, but now I can add colors and other effects to it. This opens up a whole new world to people like me. Bravo Stardock/WinCustomize [e classic]:)[/e]
Im sure a lot of people will enjoy this feature but I have to say I havent seen one skin with a texture applied by a non skinner that made it look better than the original skin. Not sure I ever will. It really takes away from the original artist concept imo. The non-skinner may think differently I guess It is what it is.
I agree with vStyeler on both opinions. I am only a new skinner so this is ideal for me. but I noti
So far I have nothing but good things to say about the new interface. There is one word that keeps coming to mind, "Awesome" I love the Texture and explorer backgrounds. Bravo to the developers and designers and all those involved. 2010 looks to be hot year at Stardock. :CONGRAT:
Thank you all for your kind comments.
Thank you for the PR my friend
