Ever since the new update evry time I open explorer just crashes incessantly. Any ideas? Anyone have same problem? I had posted this in Fences Board, forgettong about this board. Sorry for any troubles

Actually yes. After 4 hours of putzing around I uninstalled Fences. Ever since the update it is doing exactly what it was designed to stop. Explorer crashes incessantly, After ininstalling Fences, which by th way was no small feat in itself. U sing built in uninstaller, via Impulse left all kunds of Registry value. Am I to understand that if I do as satated above it will work? I am runnning Vista SP2 and had no problems at all before the update, skyzyk

HI, To answer your question, I had a couple of apps that I did not uninstall before installing Object Desktop. A move I later regretted because Impulse gets confused and it did cause me probllems. When I uninstalled them and re installed Object Desktop, everything worked like a charm. I do suggest you install the new Impulse before installing Object Desktop, it will make things easier. I'm glad you guys are thinking about guys like me, guys or gals, who don't have a lot of programming experience. Honestly after reading some posts I found that some were more discouraging than helpfull. Hello, I just purchased Fish Pack #3 to install with Aquarium 2009. There are also some extra elements to go with the already provided elements. The thing is when I went to install it it said it couldn't find Aquarium 2006 and wanted to install with gadgets. I have my oreferences set to accept Beta versions yet I don't see "Use Impulse Beta" I see some people commenting on it so thwy were able to do it. Mine doesn't give me the choice. Note I live in Canada

I installed Stardock Mini Globes Obkect File. I now have three Icons, with no links, and no remove button. I have unlaoded and loaded at least a dozen times and still the same. I have uninstalled it from Impulse but am unable to uninstall it from Control Panel (Cannot find LOGFIle??) I reinstalled it twice now and still the same. I don't have the Pro only the Ist version.
