If a good player that only cares about having the higest rank sees another good player in the game, he will just quit within the first 3 minutes and hope to play a noob next game. This player could possibly be higher rank then a better player, just bc he decides what battles he wants to fight. If you quit, it should be a loss, no 3 minute window.

Yah im rank 9,300 with 937 xp on custom and rank 3 on the new pantheon with 1200+.. im not sure if this ranking system is any indication of how good a player is. From what i can tell if you play a online custom gave (you vs ai) you get 0 experience, same if a human quits online and the game ends with all opposing people being ai.. they get a loss, you get a win but no experience. I would probably put myself between above average and pro.. but my stats dont really do that justi

Hm ok that makes sense, but there has to be a base experience to start at..? and does time played have anything to do with rank? And how much xp do you get for beating an ai? do you get more xp for a nightmare?

I seem to have the same amount of experience in custom games.. as people with 0 wins and 1 loss, anyone know how this works? I have like 110 wins and 65 losses.

Doesnt ladder usually refer to "ranked" the one area that matters? ... and pantheon/skirmish are the only ranked ladders?

I sold all my gear to buy the reg on my team the 2x crit gloves and mage, very early in the game, then i buy him ashkandor, and he gets cloak of flames ect. Then he d/c's and the ai starts running in circles chasing angels, when we were at their choke point in exile.. so close to winning. He had 27 kills on 4v4 15 minutes into the game ( 2nd in kills was like 5 or so), we ended up losing.

Erebus's minions do shit dmg w hile attacking a moving target, fix that and erebus should be ok. Given how bad all of gpg's games are with pathfinding.. i doubt it will ever happen.
