Voting today was another reminder of how great America is. For all our disagreements, we CAN disagree. For all our fears, we are a country founding on the idea and hope of Freedom and Democracy. We are all lucky (dare an ardent secularist say blessed) to be here and we shouldn't ever forget the incredible hard work and sacrifice so many have given for this gift. Let's just take a moment to share in appreciation for the country we love.

And I thought the Left Wing were Haters...
Well, in Pennsylvania during the Dem primaries there was a guy outside the polling place yelling "Save the Land, join the Klan!". So if McCain wins PA, I think it's possible the tipping point was racism. However, we won't ever really be able to tell and that's a far cry from saying every vote for McCain is a racist one. As for voting for the black candidate because you're black, that isn't even close to the number of Hilary supporters I found who would find a way to excuse a

come on, this is a laughable article that at best describes extreme liberalism. i believe in preemptive strikes into pakistan, i believe in curbing abortion through abstinence education, and i have no problem with gay marriage. but yes the less religion of any sort the better. i believe in life long sentences for anyone convicted of any sexual deviancy (and any violent crime of excessive brutality) and if not that then chemically castrate the bastards. i think all crimes are hat
I really don't care what Obama thinks actually. I didn't want Obama but I did want Biden. Biden actually was my personal favorite in this election. McCain-Biden would have been great to be honest.
Talking about deserving a job seems silly to me. Either one is qualified or not. I don't think either candidate is that great, but I'll be voting for Obama. McCain could easily have had my vote if he had kept himself to being the 2000 presidential candidate. Now he has nothing left but attack ads and poor planning.I also find his obsession with staying in Iraq questionable at best - perhaps we should have left after we found no WMDs. Picking Palin was the worst mistake he could
