Ok.. I have a really nooby question.. in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

Whenever I play Galactic Civilizations Ultimate Edition, I start out just fine getting 1 bc revenue, but once I get to the second turn, my expenses pretty much skyrocket to about three times my income, and I always go into debt and lose... So here's my question.. How are you supposed to make money in this blasted game?? >. [Message Edited]
