I sometimes go nanites first, colonize second if I have a moderately defended desert/terran nearby with one kodiak and 4-5 krosovs. Going nanites first allows you to quickly wipe krosovs and maybe an LRM; then, with perfect timing, your EGG gets its second level and you can pick colonize, use it and go about your job as intended. Still I believe that while Armistice or Malice may require a buff, the EGG's colonization buff should be somewhere... five
N3rull
I agree that the EGG's colonize ability is very meh at best, but there is a lot more to Vasari that needs buffing than their only OP capital ship that everybody uses anyway for all the other juicy stuff.
As a Vasari devotee for no sensible reason I have composed a little warning for any Vasari beginner who sends his Orky versus an argonev. This holds for any argonev engagement, by the way. I haven't tested it against transcencia, but I believe Meteors would screw the results. Feel free to reiterate the text or just include the pic in any post if you like it. <img style="vertical-align: middle;" src="http://img651.imageshack.us/img651/5695/baseangle.jpg" alt="" width="1013" hei

When you want to blow someone's back off with a frag grenade, you count to five. When you want to annihilate the Universe, you count to Chuck Norris.
Well done, you've whopped the bad ol' sanchez centurion something into his infamous multiplayer propaganda frenzy. Forevermore your soul shall be tainted with the temptation of clicking on Ironclad Online button everytime you launch the game. Holy Spirit have mercy upon your forsaken being...
When a player asks a player to exchange 1000 credits for 250 Crystal, the other player says "Ok, agreed". When Chuck Norris 'asks' a player to give him 1000 credits AND 250 Crystal, the player says "Thou art most merciful, your Majesty".
Yeah, right. Why not remove autoattack from the game completely? When the ship doesn't know what to do, it's easy to fix as well. Just r-click the enemy. Bah Who needs autoattack?
Maybe it's meant to be used with Culture hubs?
Never had this issue. Ok I just checked that selecting two caps, tabbing once so that the second is on top and THEN creating fleet leaves you with a fleet with the SECOND cap on top. Yeah, if you assign them to a number and bring the selection back through that number, flagship jumps on top. Funny. But if you deselect the group and then click the fleet icon, you get the ship you wanted on top.
Due to incredible technological achievements in the field of interstellar propulsion systems, the scientists have developed a new unit of speed - CSP. Take one fighter and have it accelerate constantly with its maximum thrust for 100 years. That fighter will then have the velocity of roughly 0.0001 CSP. PS. CSP stands for Chuck's Sleepy Pace .
When a player attempts to put bounty on Chuck Norris' head, his planets immediately revolt and all ships turn hostile. Who in the universe would willingly serve such a suicidal jerk??
To be exact, up until ~1.15 or so the Stabilize Phase Space ability was Channeling, which means that the Marauder had to be frozen solid to maintain the Stabilizer Node. If one is determined enough, he might find it in the changelogs, as I remember seeing it there. So it's not a myth in reality. It's just outdated info ;).
We're sorry, the remaining 359 launch bays are incompatible with demo bots; deploying rails were calibrated in Virginia, but the bots' magnetosliders have Made in Taiwan on them. Only the front bay has Beckham manually kicking the bots out of the ship.
"Ta Da! ... Noobs!"
lol. Rep.
You can do the same thing by making one IMBALOLHUGE star system with a couple of "planet hubs". Each hub would have a central planet that is the only one connected to a handful of central planets of other hubs.
Whatever. Either way, as I said, this would render siege frigs useless. They would get shot down in seconds.
There was a guy who designed a supercannon which could launch shells, or other payload, into orbit.
1. How big would it have to be? 2. How easy would it be to destroy from orbit? 3. Count how much energy would be wasted as the shell fights its way through air resistance and gravity. 4. Think how easy would it be to intercept a projectile like this. 5. Consider how easy would it be to actually hit something in orbit. Send a satellite to the or
Subverters NEED the turn rate to be able to escape from the middle of the enemy fleet once they use Distortion field. Overseers NEED the turn rate to heal that frigate over there NOW, cause 1 sec later it will be a cloud of vapors. TEC ships don't need that stuff to be useful. It's doesn't really matter if Designate target starts 1 sec earlier or not. It doesn't matter if demo bots begin 1 sec earlier or not. Repair bots are omni already AFAIK. Case closed.
This would basically render siege frigs useless, don't you think? They already have a hard time being of much help.
Yay, ET is satisfied. Sleep well SD/IC, the One who sounds like he's the Boss is satisfied. You're not gonna get a slap on the bottom.
Chuck Norris can update the game without using Impulse.
The Revelation changes are welcome, but it needs a buff still. Provoke Hysteria deals 60 dps to capital planets only whereas a Vulkoras does 108 dps to all planets passively with lvl 3 Assualt Specialisation.
WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN DRINKING? o.O I want some of that too! Vulkoras does 10~11 dps against planets with maxed assault spec and a little over 5 without it. The listed 53 is single shot damage. A capital planet with 6000 hit points would die in below 60 seconds if it w
Ok, I'm its been said but now egg colonise is the odd one out. It needs a buff, probably along the lines of 10/15/20 % reduced building construction cost.
Egg is haxx enough. Don't get me wrong, I'm a Vasari player, but the EGG is very strong anyway. Nanos are still badass, though Kortul is likely going to be my favorite in the next handful of games I'll play.
This fussing and fighting was dead for two weeks. necro ;p
