That's an idea

Repulse should push HCs and LFs so that the illums are out of their range whilst being able to reach them. That's it. It shouldn't outrange other support cruiser or cap abilities. In fact, this ability would be awesome even if it was restricted to frigates only.
Everyone who answered No to question #1, essentially admitting they are a pirate on the developer's official discussion board, please raise their hand.
My friend did play a dozen hours of Sins and never bought the game - he played it on my PC. Think a second before you write, you freakin' nazi.
you get 50 creds for killing a trade ship (which is 5 seconds of basic credit income, or 1 second for an eco strong player)
I think it could do damage to shields-> hull and restore shields. You disintegrate that matter, right? Turn it into energy? Then that energy should restore the energy-based shields. That would add a ton of usability to Disintegration, because you would have a reason to use it as soon as you lose some shields, not when your cap is already half dead.
The damage doesn't go up by straight 10%. It's less. Question (here, cause it is closely related to the Marauder): What would you say if the Vasari Homeworld was "Phase Stabilizer Node" by default? I mean, from the first minute of the game, just like that. It wouldn't be much of a bonus before the player gets phase stabilizers, kosturas... or a Marauder to level 6. I believe it wouldn't screw anything but would make a Marauder so much more useful
Just play those awesome Vasari and see how crappy all that stuff is.
In real life trade vessels that were destroyed would not be replaced for free, also the operating costs of trade ships would go up if the route became dangerous due to higher insurance and danger pay for crew etc. The amount of money gained for raiding enemy trade ships is pitiful. It should be greatly increased, and additional penalties imposed on the trading player who loses trade ships.
That idea may be a little too much, because the trade ships are stupid enough to fly thro
What about this: Trade Port ability - Deal of the Year A buyer has been found in an allied Empire for some very precious cargo. Escort the Trade Vessel to earn serious profits. Ability costs 1000 credits to activate Cooldown is 15 minutes from the moment the previous Deal of the Year is completed (either succeeded or failed) Effects: a very sturdy Trade Vessel (the size and durability of a cap sh
The most beautiful thing in sins is the lack of necessary macro-scale-micro. Most RTS games require a big number of clicks to develop infrastructure etc. Sins is very simplified - you can, for example, select your 80 planets with a box and instantly order the construction of fighters on each planet, because the squadron management icon will appear (collectively, for all planets). You can also quickly TAB through them all to see which one could use an upgrade t
Before N3Rull jumps on that statement ( i know you're out there ) Lol. N3rull, the forum lurker.
You know I'm watching...
Banned for entering a ban frenzy.
N3rull you forgot OP illums. They have more health for their cost then kodiaks. Thats not right.
Having more health is only half of the truth. If you look up the table of what weapon deals what damage to what units, you will see that very heavy armor takes about 50% less damage from all sources averaged. The best you can do to HCs is 125% from other HCs, 100% with bombers, all other units deal below 75%. Light armor - LRFs - take 200% from a number of sources (fighters
N3rull, when you used to say that assualt cruisers should have medium armour, I thought that you must have some logic behind it, but I didn't really think about it.
My logic was behind heavy all the time, but some unknown evil made me type medium.
The only broken thing is starbase phase gates on stars.
The phase gate erratic functioning has a long story of not working in the most annoying and random moments. I haven't used Marauder much recently, but I have had its phase gating fail a number of times in a number of situations in the past. Many others did as well.
Thanks, good luck. Try to use very expensive buildings - I believe their value should affect the hit points restored. It should be easier to notice the difference.
As vasari it is a bit harder but it still just as possible but it requires the capturing of alot of the nutrals. There is different ways to do it as vasari im not gonna say them because it would give away some secrets
Is it your full-time job to post around mentioning how you know a dozen ways to peel a banana, but you aren't gonna share them cause it's some fvckin' secret? You seem to do this crap in every second post.
No idea. No dev said what they wanted it to do (precisely) so ... no idea.
Do you "own" your copy of sins? (don't be ashamed if you don't) - I'm not ashamed! Do you own entrenchment? - I'm not ashamed here either! Let say you were to divide you time between Vanilla and Entrenchment sins, what percentage of time do you play Vanilla or Entrenchment? - Entrenchment 101%. SBs ftw. Roughly how many hours a day do you play Sins (either)(count mutliplayer also)? - Ehm... let's see... I launch the game... rea
Watch and see when it comes time for the reviews that this new addon will get trashed. watch and see.
DUUUDE. Empire Total War was praised through the mighty heavens in almost all reviews throughout the web, when it only recently became playable, half a year after the release! It CTDed about every 10 minutes and corrupted saved games on daily basis until patch 1.3! On Total War Center, the biggest unofficial TW community (bigger than the official I believe), the
Blah, my head's been screwed. Of course I wanted both assault cruisers and siege frigs to be heavy armored (so LFs hard counter them), not medium. I must've been been drinking. This is because I wanted LFs to counter those. That way siege frigs / assault cruisers won't die too easily if they are protected against LFs correctly and will die like flies if left alone. That's just the way it should be! heavyheavyheavyHEAVEY!
look two posts above
I, for one, do not think Advent is OP. Advent is JUST FINE . Advent is not some sort of ungodly imbalol haxxor faction. Maybe repulse should become counterable. Other than that, Advent is just about as polished as it should, with ships and caps working nicely together, abilities that support each other and so on. It is the other two races that are crapped , left wi
Change armor type? Nah. Though I'm curious what it is currently (as well as the Sivuskras and Ogrov's).
lol. That sounded like "I don't know what the problem is nor what the change would do, but don't do it anyway".
Edit: Interesting how you didn't vote for a drop in fleet supplies...
I did not say 'nay'. I said I agree with changing armor (Bombers, lrfs and adjudicators are all different assault choices and should require different defensive measures; as
Yes it can disrupt a Marza, but just how often do you meet Marzas ready to MB you? Many TEC players use it, ok, you need Marauder to stop it, I agree. But being able to stop a missile barrage does not mean a game won. You can catch those carriers. Awesome. Particularly now that they have had their speed nerfed. Marauder sounds nice and cool, but except being able to help in a few, unique situations that may or may not even happen in your game, it does NOTHING. Every
