Ah. That's normal.

You mean on LAN? Did you check the ping of your opponents?
It doesn't say "the net crashed". It says that an invalid game state occured and therefore the game is no longer in sync. To answer your last question: yes, it could be caused on purpose to avoid a loss. But otherwise it's a game bug and there is nothing you can do about it.
Don't run around accusing people of causing desyncs.

Hm... bump... really thought more people would be interested in reviving Pantheon as a simple auto-matchmaking service.
Make sure that the Windows Firewall is not running. Also make sure that the game is in BitDefenders exception list on each machine. Maybe deactivate BitDefender completely.

Yes, I understand and accept the business decisions. But you are still mentioning the "hostility". It just bugs me that you are letting the forum trolls win, so to speak.
Pantheon seems to be dieing right now: Many people probably do not want to put up against a General only team anymore (as Assassin). Therfore, only the Dark side is stacked, at least since last week: Which in turn means that Pantheon games are getting rarer. And that means that the current Tournament will tak

I have one additional thing to say though.
And of course, we've seen how people reacted to yesterday's update that added an additional Demigod. We want users to be happy with the game. We are happy with Demigod. We like hanging out with many of the members of the community. But I think it's clear that it would be a huge mistake to try to release future non-free updates for Demigod (i.e. map or demigod modules). Certainly, some peop
Hi guys, I'm waiting for the compiler on another project to finish so let me take a minute to address this. There are a lot of different issues in place here so I'll try to be as succinct as I can be. First, I don't think most people realize that Stardock is only the publisher of the game in North America and digitally. Atari is actually the worldwide publisher (outside of North America). But the responsibilit
@kolonel_klink: DLC that cost money would not be there just to "milk" the Demigod players. It would be there to finance the actual content. I'd rather pay a reasonable small price for an additional map, than having no new map at all. GPG can't just produce new content out of thin air. Stardock needs to pay them to do it and Stardock can't pull that money out of thin air either of course ;).
No, the two problems are directly related. If the people who know what is going on fail on FREE content... there is no point in doing additional content $$$ because the masses will fail miserably or worse too. Stardock will get a bunch of grief, not make any money, and nobody will be happy on both sides.
Yes, but as I said, that's simply a support and bug fixing Problem, not a problem with the way of getting DLC (i.e. going on a website and adding it to your account,
Even with a statement formed like that, the "it's pretty clear" would indicate that the decision was made because of the hostile comments. And don't forget the second statement.
I am not going to QQ if there is no more content, because I am quite happy with the current maps + demigods really.
I am fine with any business based decision they have to make about new content. I simply have to accept that. But I am not fine with a decision based on a few hostile comments on the forum.
That's not how it works Sevenix. Stardock has to estimate how much money they get from a DLC item and weigh it against the cost of making that DLC item. And Istari very clearly said, that they do not want to offer any more downloadable content, because of the hostility they received . I also hope that he mad that statement only in the heat of the moment, but Frogboy said something similar too, if I remembe correctly.
Well, if the people who seem to know what is going on have problems, can you imagine what is going to happen to the average Joes who need to do this? Probably a smarter move so Impulse support is not bogged down helping 1000s of people individually. PS: I had no problem activating Occ in this matter.
You are mixing different issues here. First of all, "Average Joe" does not need to buy downloadable content. If he wan
But it isn't more trouble. People were just complaining, that they had to manually add free content to their game through the Impulse store, even though they received Demon Assassin automatically before. Furthermore, some people had trouble getting Occulus, some are still not able to play with him. Some are even not able to play Demon Assassin. So some people were simply outraged about additional bugs, but that's simply a different issue.
That's not true, most of the trolls have vanished, thankfully, or they simply didn't bother to troll the forum anymore.
The trolls are happy for sure and probably laughing about this. The only people that get hurt by this are the people who like Demigod and would love to see future updates and maybe also future content. Sure they are all human and understandably annoyed. But I do not understand these statements at all, which, as I said, only hurt those who love Demigod. And I don't think they want to do that.
