Ah, I almost forgot. One other thing you can try in the meantime is this ImpulseReactor.dll .

I think all you can do for now is wait for the next update. There is an issue where certain Modems, Routers or Firewalls block Stardock's NAT facilitator server, intentionally or unintentionally, after the server sent you many UDP packets. This issue occured before the May 7th patch and after the May 14th patch, where that traffic isn't throttled anymore, to make the connection process faster. Cari, one of the develeopers, told me, that they will put back in some throttling once the Pantheon/

That could explain your second observation.
I know that. The Hammer slam does x damage right where the hammer hits (or at least virtually hits) and y damage in the outer area (depending on the level). But that's not what I meant. If I assign the target to be dead center on the tower, the rook still might slam somewher
It's weird though that only Demigod is affected? The first thing you could try is make a complete, clean reinstall. I too would recommend to contact Stardock support, if the problem persists.
I guess he means if he launches the game through Impulse. There is no way to define command line arguments for that. As far as I know at least.
Ok, thx. I wondered, because I observed 2 contradicting things: An Erebus is humping me. I aim the hammer slam directly on him, which is somewhere very near to the Rook's position. The Rook does his slam, but slams somewhere behind the Erebus, since he is too near. The Erebus still receives full damage. I want to slam a tower directly. The tower is standing near an edge of the map. The Rook does his hammer slam somewhere around the tower, but not directl
I always wondered: where does the hammer slam do the damage? Where the hammer lands visually or always where you aimed it? (Sometimes the rook doesn't slam right where you aimed, because you aimed too near of him or too near of a map edge.)
Well, I'm happy enough with the english one But on behalf of some players in some german game forums I'd like to know, if they can buy the german download version of the game for 40$ on impulse ... or at least buy the english one now and the german one later. Good idea. The same thing schould be applied to chat messages ! Because the white text is often hard to read anyway and it's hard to see at a glance if it is an allied or public message
But Demigod’s network requirements are somewhat unusual and demanding. First, Demigod is peer-to-peer and not client server. Everyone connects to everyone. Second, the number of people playing is unusual. Yes, some people do play 4 on 4 games of Supreme Commander or Company of Heroes but typically they’re 1 on 1 or 2 on 2. The more connections, the more complex.
Frogboy, this is still not true... People play a 4v4 on Seton's Clutch in Supreme Commander Forged Allianc

I talked with Cari again. There will or might be another update today, which could fix the problem (or one cause of the problem) and then they'll look at putting back in some throttling again.
Frogboy said: Ok guys. Let us have it. We’ve largely rewritten the way users get connected for custom games. So… Is it better? Let us know.
It's worse for me. Ever since the May 14th update, I cannot connect to any game at all, because I lose the connection to the NAT facilitator again. This was fixed with the May 7th update by throttling down the traffic that the Stardock server sends. My router or my ISP does n
It's even more frustrating, when they released a patch that fixed it.. and then more than a week later released another one that broke it again, for me :(.
@ccarlton: what does this have to do with command line arguments... ?
Demigod does not use a Server-Client system. It's a full peer-to-peer system, where every client has to process everything.

This is another thing that's better in Steam. You can define all the command line options you want there. (However, Steam works fundamentally different anyway.)

Ah, well no. The /skipintro command line options was added in the last patch, nothing else.
