well tkins that why it would be called wish list. My suggestion would be to create a list that describes the problems present and the issues that need solving. A vote on what issues need solving first would definitely help bring up the most important issues affecting gameplay and prioritize those issues for the dev. team. thats basically what i was sayin
Then I think you're on the right track! </
Aside from assuming that the devs always know best, I'll agree with you. But "devs always know best" is the thinking that gave us Earth & Beyond. And tell me if you agree with me here, but I strongly dislike the idea of making everyone's starbases mobile, and vehemently dislike the idea of a phase-jumping starbase. ANYBODY'S phase-jumping starbase. The heck kind of base goes from place to place?
I don't think the majority of people would design the best game. Developers need to take into account all the feedback and decide which would make the most pleasant game. A democratic vote on it will not necessarily produce the best game for everyone.' example. Option A goes well with B but not C or D Option D goes well with option C but not A or B Most people like options A and D but together they just end up being a weak product.
I think there should probably be some sort of automatic AI behavior to avoid mines That would sort of defeat the point of having mines - why have them if there's no effort on the part of the player to avoid them
I think he means after they've already been spotted. I hope that's what is meant ...

I see where you are coming from, and these more exact numbers clarify a bit better. i still think 9000 is a bit high but if the star base starts with no shields and no armour it's not ridiculous. Remember though, as it stands now Starbases are only 2000 credits. That's not very much. 60% of a battleship, less than 2 carriers, about 6 Light Frigates. It does present an interesting approach though by having a lot of hull but little armaments, a

Remember those orbital structures do not have shields. If I remember right they also do not regenerate as fast as ships. I would strongly advise against raising the initial hull and lowering the upgrades. This will only limit the versatility of starbases.

Well it says that it allows you to runt he colony from space. I certainly couldn't build any buildings or ships so it seems kinda useless if you ask me. Who is going to build a colony when an enemy starbase is there anyways?

Hello, I just built a star base beside a planet I owned, then upgraded with auxiliary government. The AI rushed in with a big fleet and a bunch of siege frigates. The planet died and I still had my starbase there. Am I missing something or is this bugged? Can anyone else confirm this behaviour? Also, the new ways the AI attacks, very nice! It took them a while to get going but once they do it's much more efficient.
