Downloaded the new version of SOA2. Check. Got online. Check. Got into ICO. Check. Met up with a guy I talked with on the forum. I didn't know what I was doing (pretty sure it was obvious). He setup the game. I played Fed he played Klingon. I thought there would be more players or AI. There were not. But okay. He keeps typing to me but I don't know how to respond. He tells me to hit "Enter" to

I am thinking we could create an informal club and call it SOA2 Club. If we get enough players we can split games into Noob, Medium and High. If we don't get enough people then we will do whatever. I don't want to play anything serious. I just want to meet some people and share the joy that is SOA2. And of course: the first rule of SOA2 Club is to TALK about it so other people join

The new version is up and ready to download. Thank you SOA2 team. Delete your old SOA2 folder (I know it's sad) you need a clean install. Download the new version from moddb. http://www.moddb.com/downloads/soa2-full-version-for-rebellion I will be on ICO and will create an SOA2 channel. Pavel if you are out there look for me. I am interested. Well more than interested. But I have only ever been able to beat the Borg late game with the use of the pause key. Does pause work in multiplayer? Even if it doesn't I am ready to do this. I have always wanted to play epic games with other people. The SOA2 team was going to get another version up today. I hope they do then we could use that. How are you for tonight or this wee

I honestly don't care for Titans. I would like a way to turn them off in the game; super weapons too. I'm not against trying new things but I would also like a way to be protected from these new things. Ekko-Tek you are right about some games being stressful and I really don't need any more stress in my life. I've been watching Paravox's SOASE tips. They are funny and quick. I also try to read everything GoaFan77 writes. Like the piece he put on steam. He puts up videos too. I'm looking forward to GoaFan's new mod too. Oh GoaFan! I play exclusively against the AI huge random maps 10 player all hard sometimes adding in economy, research or aggressive. And I know that I am playing against an AI so I try not to exploit that fact (for the love of the game). And usually I am playing SOA 2 mod. These games can stretch over several days. It's an epic space opera (and no one can hear you scream). [e digicons]:borg:[/e] If you are so constrained when playing a multi-pla

Turchany said: 1. (NEW SHIPS FOR ONE OF THE FACTIONS)add unique ship types so the factions will not look totally the same, one of the 2 factions could inherit the original ones, maybe the loyalist ones, and rebels shoudl get new ship types not to look totally the same. Though I am aware of the 2GB RAM limit stuff or something and know that this cannot be done, so ignore it. I'm sorry to inform you but you are not wrong. This could be accomplished in the form of mods

I love this dreamer. He's blasting through everything like nothing is impossible. And now that I see the free flying vid above maybe he'll have a brainstorm and figure out a way to make it available in the future. He seems to be able to do anything he puts his mind too. backs out of the room slowly (in awe of this man's work)... [e digicons]*_*[/e] [e digicons]*_*[/e]

You know little things like this are important. They are part of our collective Sins history, our communal story. It's like losing your little toe. It's not as important as your big toe in day to day activities; still, if you lost it, you would remember it fondly. I know what it's like to lose something you love (and then maintain a minimum required distance - for now - [e digicons]o

Norway has anti-assimilation ability. A couple of those in your fleet will assist you. The number you need depends on your play style. And I have said it before the "Pause" key should have a special place in your heart when fighting the Borg (you are not, will never be, unless you are Data, as fast as the AI). Cultural differences can be like landmines. My wife freaked out the first time I touched the top of her head. She is Thai. Thais also have a thing about touching things or pointing at things with your feet. And not all Thai care about such things so even the rule is the exception.
