The fleets are pretty big on Unfair, I haven't played Hard lately but maybe you're ready for the next step?

Could "Corporation" be changed to something more medieval/fantasy-sounding like "Craftsguild"? Alternatively, a Craftsguild could be another kind of guild that is production-focused rather than income-focused and every few seasons they can cheaply rush a building.
Just the left pylon and not the right? Would you say that this is "imbalanced"? (I'm sorry, I couldn't resist.)
Ok, I loaded Rebellion up real quick before posting this to check. From a lore perspective, I actually wish the Vasari Rebels still had Enslaved Labor and here's why: Alliances aren't always about international friendship and agreements and a shared vision for the future. Sometimes they are about expediency and survival. (BSG fans will do well to remember the final season). Sometimes, states have to play nice with people they hate, people whom th
When I spam corvettes (I know, I know) I don't hear the build voice over and over, just sometimes (not sure if its every xth one or not). I've only tested this with Advent rebels so far but I assume all factions are like this. Seriously, this does help a lot.
It seems to have something to do with multiple units firing things, and seems to not happen until it does, at which point it is consistent. My origin of shot variable was set to Sailor Jerry until I had a really bad night a few years ago.
is there a changelog? (am I horrendously oblivious?) Edit: While not up at the time of this writing, I saw in another post that Yarlen will post patch notes. coolz.
how about if he's wrong he has to chug. [e digicons][/e]
Not sure if this has been reported before. During tactical battles, sometimes ranged attacks like arrows or fireballs from mages will not originate from the shooter, but will originate from the side of the screen and hit the target, doing damage as normal. However, it's not consistent. It will happen a number of times in a battle though. I have only seen this with my troops. This hasn't happened with enemy arrows as far as I can tell.
I know these have been mentioned but I just want to keep these on the psidar. 1. The iconus guardian still spams its shield projection outside of battle. 2. Aeria drone hosts controlled by the AI still carry around squadrons of mines without deploying them (this was fixed in Diplomacy, I believe). For this I will offer a suggestion: AI-controlled Aeria's don't make mines by default. However, once one enters a gravity wel
Provoking others to go to war with you is a time-honored tradition. This could fit within a larger diplomatic context. States will be wary of you if you just belligerently attack others (not sure if this is how the game works, but it would be a cool game mechanic). However, if you are attacked and in the course of your counter-attack you wipe out their armies, take over their cities, and hear the lamentations of their women, hey, "it was self-defense".
Does this mean the Growth spell is working...or not? (sorry, I'll stop soon)
he actually takes up 2 squares on the tactical map.
If it's been longer longer than 4 seasons, he should call on an apothecary. but seriously, please make it go away (or at the very least nerf it; that's way OP).
I have to pretend that each gravity well is a separate star system within a cluster and the planet is just the most interesting thing around that star and that the central star represents the core of the cluster (think Empire at War meets Mass Effect). otherwise i start thinking about orbital distance, clearing the neighborhood, and other ramifications that get in the way. timing would also be tricky because the current war only covers about 25 (presumably
Quoting Seleuceia, reply 13In my opinion, skirmishers and cobalts need abilities that affect AM directly (so they hurt carriers, not just support ships)...perhaps even removing the requirement to face the target would be worth considering as well... Indeed, my little test with having Sabotage Antimatter directly deplete some antimatter, and interference reducing AM regeneration rates worked pretty well. These abilities could certa
If death were an option, some people would want a resurrection spell (expensive, high level), but would be free to spend their research and mana on other things if they wanted more challenge. Edit: that said, for now, permanent injuries are at least a middle-ground between losing everything and losing nothing.
Quoting stein220, reply 3To streamline it a bit, how about if all neutral worlds started with 25% (or more) neutral allegiance like the pirate base and neutral-controlled planets (note: you currently only see neutral controlled planets with the map editor). When culture from a player (AI or human but we'll assume you are the player here) starts hitting a planet (neutral or enemy, doesn't matter now), the allegianc
Ive only been playing a little bit but would selecting bigger maps and fewer opponents help? changing the pacing setting? I haven't tried these personally, I'm still just trying out each faction with everything normal to get a feel for how the game works. If more changes are needed, should monsters prioritize attacking settlements and secondary cities more and your main city less so you can't spam as much but don't get taken out right at the beginning?
