This game need so much more heroes, playing oak for the 100th time will be tiresome.

haha wtf, this thread....
If demigod wants to compete with the playerbase of DOTA, they really need to step up the number of heroes. 8+2 (that are planned) simply does not cut it for replayability. So far the number of maps in demigod have offered some variaty, but in 2-3 months time when people have played all heroes with all reasonable builds they prolly wont be coming back for more. Explansions would be cool, I woul definately pay for 8 new heroes and maps :)
You guys should release en SDK so people can create new heroes for you, either based on models already in the game or make new ones :)
more 3v3 maps, please!!!!
This is really annoying, I have had to wait 3 minutes because of remakes when 6 persons press "end game" before I do. This was not the case 1 week ago, if someone quit the game he just left. The REAL bummer is that while the timeout window is up.. YOU CANNOT PRESS ANY BUTTON ON SCREEN! If we could, we could just quit ourselves when we know the game has to be remade or whatever. And also, there should really be a
agree, this needs fixing ASAP
When the last opposing teamplayer drops, the game should end.

Time depends on how much studiowork I got going, from 5-60 hours a week. 3. depends 4. depends 5. Team games could be fun if people utilize their coop skills 6. Its all bout playing baby 7. Learning one hero the time, right now: UB with -20% cooldown FI and machinegun spits :) 8. Sweden 9. GMT +1 (I think, stockholm)
They should just make the game end (other team wins) if everyone on one team leaves, instead of switching on a stupid AI.
Your predictions on IF we may remember some of today games in the future is totally insignificant though, as we cannot know that. Just because you dont appreciate games as cultural art, does not mean others do not experience it as such. The world does not revolve around you or your opinions. If someone believes something to be art, it is for that person.
You seem to be living in a world where t
So basically what you are saying is that it is more wrong to pirate shallow games, as they cannot be considered culture in the same way as great games Nope, you're putting words in my mouth again... You said people should be entitled to play whatever games they want, whether they can afford them or not, because they're an important cultural experience. I'm saying that they are not an important cultural experience.
You are pretty high up on your throne if you see yourself as a decider between what is high quality culture and some lower form of culture. I never claimed to be the one to decide what's high quality culture or not - academics have already decided, I'm just stating fairly well established fact. Have a read the Popular Culture article on Wikipedia (which you kindly linked to in your post above). It essentially suppor
From your source, Video Game Culture feeds into Popular Culture. Follow the link to Popular Culture from your own post there. Now look back at what I've said. Popular culture != high quality culture. Ergo, poor people pirating video games does not promote the spread of high quality culture among poor people. Nothing more to add really, except to point out that only a handful of the hundreds of t
Quoting floodiastus, reply 24 So culture must have a complex message to convey for it to be culture? I think you need to read up on the meaning of a few words man. You were arguing that "oh noes, we can't deny the poor neglected children access to culture, let them pirate things!" Games != great works of culture. Sorry, they're just not. A few of them have reached roughly the level of a mi
Because someone can't afford to buy every game, does not make it right to obtain them through copyright infringement. Yes, that's right, you're a mooch. You have no right to someone elses work simply because it exists. That you are doing no harm to them by obtaining it without the means to purchase it, simply means you're a mooch of no consequence. Doing no harm doesn't entitle you to the action.
<p
Real quality culture? I believe video games to be one of the higher forms of art myself (something even those from your anti-pirate camp seems to be willing to admit in this thread) but each to his own. You need to get outside and go walk round a museum or a gallery, or go see a play at a theatre or something... Video games are great fun, and sometimes they're really pretty to look at, but I can't remember the last

more like waiting 2 minutes if you arent fast enough to exit before anyone else does
Quoting db0, reply 7 I suspect you'll find that most pirates are aged between 10-25 and are wealthy enough (or have parents wealthy enough) to have a broadband connection, electricity, a gaming PC, food, drink, a roof over their heads, etc, etc. People who, if they saved a little, or just bothered to put their hand in their pocket once in a while, can afford to pay for PC games. .
<
Yeah im not disputing why there are desynch or popup windows, im disputing if it is really neccessary to freeze up everything, like when desynching appears, you can still play the game, but you have to keep click the damn window for it to go away every 3 seconds. And when people end the game or ragequit, you have to wait for 30 seconds looking at a timeout popup before you can even press the menu button and exit yourself....
Everytime someone leaves a game, I am force to look at that damn timeout window for 30 seconds, and I cant click anything meanwhile. Same with the desynch popup, I have to click the OK button to even continue playing. A tip would be to have a smaller window that does not interfer or interrupts playing or clicking at all?
The beta update seemed alot more stable than this, sometimes people cannot connect to lobbies. There have been alot of client crashes and it takes longer to get games going, if at all.
Quoting floodiastus, reply 24 Except that, as others have said, if you have money to buy a PC capable of running the latest games, pay for broadband internet, and pay for electricity torun your PC, you *can* afford to spend money on a PC game. That's kind of the problem. No matter how much you try to be high and mighty, "oh, please, think of the poor of the world, don't deny them this wonderful culture!", the genuin
