HoN is still in closed beta and no release date has been announced, but they have begun taking preorders in the beta so hopefully in a few months. I am not disputing the atmosphere in demigod, its a fun game. But it will wither slowly, GPG is moving on to other games as is stardock. Im playing HoN now instead of demigod, mainly because I see a future in that game. Whereas demigod will recieve no new maps (too expensive to make), only 2 demigods if the userbase are not to pay for more demigods. Actually morale is a big deal with minion builds. But as you say, sure you can make him with that 1 build, minions to support his attacks (Send em back to base and use mana for his abilities instead). But how it is a good thing that a general has the worst minion-build of all I cannot really understand :) It will be a one-trick pony this general.

Heh, this confirms that Demigod will slowly wither and die. No more demigods after these 2 comin up(unless payed for and that wont happen with this community im sure, first one will MAYBE be released, picked on as being either to good, or too bad (why the hell did I just invest 9 dollar for a demigod which sucks, etc). Because there is an assassin demigod on the way as well, so it will be 6 assassins and 4 generals ? Generals are the pushers of the game, and pushing with just idols will be next to impossible cuz he only got morale as a buff-skill.

Totally agree that a general without his own minions is a little bit lame. yeh he gets better with IDOLs, but OAK gets better with his summoned ones AND can have idols to top it off. Seems to me this general is more of an assassin with idols really.

Actually most ISPs where I live have contracts ranging from 3 months to a year. In any case, I have played alot of games in my time. And not many is close to being so broken and having so much problems as demigod has. With the launch, everyone was saying that sure, all games have a rought launch. But it has been what 5 months now? My point being, when people get upset, they tend to get angry... and over the internet we all know what happens. Getting constructive critique may be all fine and dandy if you are using your free time to work on something, but if you are just doing your job, you should really just take the pain if someone complains. Usually people have a reason when they are angry. Not that I am using such harsh language as "flamers" or whatever. </p

Frogboy, if you put random in there. If you put it as a feature for some ppl to choose non-random and other players can choose random IF THEY WANT, you should really give them a gold reward for choosing random, like 200-300 gold from the start or something. Cuz im betting my hat collection that most ppl dont wanna pick random if they dont get any kind of reward for doing so :) Otherwise, great stuff.

The item description says it can revealed cloaked enemies, now there is a similar item in Dota, but I mean... There are no cloaked enemies in demigod so, whats up with that? :)

I think minions are pretty powerful, but yeah QoT and Sednas minions arent of much use since they dont benefit from any minion items. I dont know what the developers was thinking when they made 2 of the generals minions extremely good and the 2 others pretty sucky.
