Well, that will teach me to try and be humorous! Didn't read your sample carefully. Maybe it IS a random list. I just don't have such a file and I have over 600 random skins in my list.
That's because I typed the name incorrectly. I

All you have to do place the dream file names in a bat file, with waits to pause before changing to the next dream. For example: @echo OFF "c:\dreams\Lac du Boreon 2.Dream" TIMEOUT /T 3600 "c:\dreams\Costa Sunset.Dream"
Could you do something with C:\Users\Public\Documents\Stardock\WindowBlinds\skins.ntxt? It's a text file in spite of the extension. It's basically an .ini file. Here's the top of mine: [3D animated] SkinName=3D animated SkinUISName=3D animated SkinAuthor=Atlem SkinCategory=OS SkinDate=1488049711 [7Classic] SkinName=7Classic SkinUISName=7Classic SkinAuthor=BoXXi SkinCategory=Speciality<b
My PC is now tired of trying. Even the uninstall, reboot and reinstall steps fail with the missing driver error. Going to revery to 2.0.09 for now.
Whitelisting didn't solve the problem. On reboot DPS driver not found, error 1001. I forgot to mention that at shutdown the DPS program crashses accessing a memory location. Next time I see it I'll write it down.
I saw that on the page that pops up when the missing DPS driver error appears. I don't have any other audio programs running and never have. Just in case, I whitelisted the program isnide Norton Security in case it's deletin g it at boot time. Are you also getting the error?
Ever since they pushed version 2.0.11 of DPS, at reboot, I get an error saying the DPS driver is missing. I have to uninxtall, reboot and then install again. Unfortunately, at the next reboot the drive is again missining. They have a support page but no way of leaving feedback or contacting them. Anyone else seeing this?
MS is trying to force people to use their Edge browser. I clicked a link on a website and it said it was only viewable in Edge. Sure enough it won't open in Chrome or even IE. I guess there are not many users out there.
Looks good! Where can I find the dock background?
Watch out for the pirates! Welcome to a preview of Black Sails, a master skin which should be releasing the beginning of March! <
This won't solve the encrypted file issue but what if you boot to a flash drive and install a new boot record? At least if you have a backup oif your files you can reimage the OPC after that. Or why not simply reimage from the flash drive and a backup disk?
Same 1 to 2 second delay for me as well. Even slower to make them disappear.
Sounds like a good thing to check out. Thanks for posting!
Thanks for the link!
There are fake ransomware sites, that display a message similar to real ransomware but are harmless. Simply close the webpage and you'll be fine. From what I've read, real ransomeware displays a message directly on your desktop, not through a browser. A month later and my issues remain unresolved. I did send screenshots to support but have not heard back anything. My running apps dock freezes multiple times per day. Uninstalling/reinstalling doesn't fix the problem.
That's a good feature request. I don't think there's any way to lock icons in their fences at this time.
I don't know the internals of any of these so how does DesktopX differ from Rainmeter or xWidget? They have similar functions but do they work on a different level?
Ok, what I saw today was multiple dreams running on top of each other. I wonder how it managed to juggle them that way.
It can alreay do this. It's called a hybrid dream (Vintage Dream is one such a dream). See (old) manual: https://www.stardock.com/products/deskscapes/helpDS325/DeskScapes_Guide_v3.25.pdf
You mean you can create a hybrid dream which is one or more standard dreams overlaid or playe
After minimizing my browser window I noticed that the deskscapes background had paused. Usually it restarts after a few seconds but not this time. I selected another wallpaper and suddenly both were active at the same time. I clicked a third one and all three were displayed. A reboot cleared up the problem but I'm thinking, with the right combination, overlaid animated wallpapers would look cool, if a little hard on the CPU. It will probably never happen ag
I sent screenshots but have not heard back from anyone. in the meantime I reset all Nexus options and then restored them from backup. There is no change. In fact it's a little worse, with sometimes being unable to richt click a doc to get to the context menu. In addition, my dock of running applications often freezes and won't auto-hide. Finally, I noticed my subscription expired on the 16th so I renewed online. I see the chareg on my credit card
Save you Fence settings and try to uninstall and reinstall the paid version.
You should open a support ticket. Since it's the weekend and you won't get a response for a couple of days an uninstall and reinstall might be worth doing.
