Ok let say the excelsior class of the star trek mod. Let say I use the research excelsior upgrade, instead of g
Pathfinding is certainly not what I would consider an issue with Sins
dude what are you playing? almost every great player of this game would agree the pathfinding issue is Huge. Have you ever tried getting across a crowed planet, or cross a planet from the center? to move around a planet in battle, the ships ram themselves into the planet and then move little by little just to go around, and arouond planetary objects t

seriously I am not surprised that a small patch can cause a massive re-upload and re-install. Even in DS, a simple match will send me right back to 0.5 beta and then patch up to current version
It is always the small errors that cause the biggest headaches. you basically have to increase your planet gra radius size, which you have to experiment. let take this as an example: moveAreaRadius 40000.000000 hyperspaceExitRadius 30000.000000 I am guessing that the build radius for any building is roughly 90% of the hyperspace radius, so if you mod the hyperspace radius you should be able to change position of the placement. as for your first question, no, if you deviate from your first homeplanet, the planet you cha
