Someone in this very long thread suggested a fix that worked perfectly for me and which is quite simple: If you shut down both IconX and DX and then start IconX the missing tabs should be back including the option to run IconX at startup. Once that's done you can start DX again. On my machine both system tray icons are there but IconX has missing tabs if DesktopX is also running. I hope they fix this.

When trying to run MS Flight Simulator 2004 with Windowblinds loaded none of the graphics settings sliders can be moved and the hardware tabs don't appear. Unloading Windowblinds and then running FS2004 causes the problem to resolve. Grizzly
