You know: I would love to say I will edit all the descriptions, but I wont, as usually this ends with loads of work done, loss of interest into the game and wishing I could strangle the modder with his own intestines. So, kudos for putting this mod together, but I wont be using it unfortunately. Still, best of luck!

Ok, I chosen my wording badly. I did not mean the fluff descriptions, but the formatting of the actual stats, take the Shrill Harpoon. I would prefer if it looked like this: 7 Attack +10 Accuracy vs. Elementals +5 Attack vs. Elementals Immunity to Counterattack Impale - Special attack that can hit two targets in a row. Pierce Armor - Ignores 33% of target's defense. As you can see it just a small change,
Thanks for the info, but the inventory display is just a small thing I decided to mention. I felt that there was a solution for that. However it was the presentation of the texts is what really drove me away from this mod. I just find it painful to read the descriptions that look like a raw XML files. It ruins my immersion and also is pretty hard to read for a casual LH player. Please, do consider a "lore friendly" version.
I know I may be asking for a lot of work, but here I go: could you make a "lore friendly" version? What I mean is now I feel like reading the source files with all the tags and what not, I would like the displayed texts to be more immersive. Aslo I found a bug with character screen: the stats are displayed over the inventory screen with makes it really hard to equip something.
In my opinion there is too little traits and disadvantages available in faction and champion creation. It is just too little for me, so I would like to ask for somewhat community driven project to create a big database of traits. From the start I can suggest adding injuries to champion editor. Who said he can not have some old war injury Also I came up with few more weaknesses: Lame - -2 to move on battle map (+1) Pathetic Commander - -10% army init
Nah that is too far fetched ;). I mainly want alien raaces that can pose danger to humanity if humans wont put much effort to destroy them. I just prefer situations where whole galaxy sits on powder keg with lit fuse, one mistake and everybody wants to murder one another.
As I said before the "Taiidan Empire" (I think I will keep this name) will be very close to Imperium in most aspects. Fanatical followers, oppressive system, fighting the change, strong military, utterly xenophobic etc. It will be Imperium, only without the magic warp stuff (whole my setting is devoid of supernatural stuff). Obviously they wont be humans, maybe something humanoid though. Now for faction with completely rigid social system. I think they are pretty intere
I just got an idea for those religious fanatics. Why not, in great stroke of irony, make Imperium of Man (from WH40k) an aliens? Homeworld 2 had an faction that was inspired by Imperium: Taiidan Empire. They would be led by "God-Emperor" and instead of armies they would have "chapters" of that carry out "crusades" instead of wars. Throw in "inquisition" that is everywhere (and whom nobody expects ;)) and you have pretty nice enemy faction.
The other cliche that needs to die is idea of humanity sucking at everything ;). I only wanted to create some custom aliens that I would feel confortable to play with.
Hello everyone! Following HUMANITY FUCK YEAH! idea of humans being fucking awesome, I decided to create set of aliens that could show that humanity is badass while still posing a threat to mankind. I think that the best way is to do this like it happened on Earth. All of opponents will have an edge over humanity in one or two disciplines, but humanity will be one, all-around badass package. I wanted brand new aliens as I prefer custom stuff. So lets start from d
