i found the answer that seems to work so far ... see this post and add the english language code to your reg using the appropiate file Windows 7 Ultimate Crash after Opponent selection located in the bug report section ... i would add the link here but i dont know how :(
i played a game of sins deplomacy single player plane jane 1st small map and did not have any problems. same graphics settings, sound, and etc. maybe a possible problem with the galciv2 dl update
i have a little diff sys, and decided to try a plane jane start up with the games default load,(renamed raceconfig), and got same crash to desktop when starting, (loading), game after final settings screen. im running the dread loards 1.53, and did not upgrade the expansion packs. Now i do have the full expansion pack set for sins of a solar and recently downloaded and installed that game also to this new computer, but have not tried that game yet. here is my debug.err file on lates
lol i just redownloaded the game to a new laptop(asus g73), and have the same debug err report that it failed to create planet. might be a new problem with the update.
