Just a thought: Assassins work good, cause if they're doing their job (killing other demigods), they're getting better at it (through XP and gold). Generals don't work quite as good, cause they have to do an assassins job (and therefore skill for this job) to stay competitive on xp and gold. So could a possible solution be a way to "pay for the generals job"? I don't know how to achieve something like that, perhaps greater boni for killing enemy reinforcements, or for
