right... well since you don't offer anything constructive, I suggest you check this out. It's a list of all the games owned by paradox. Take a look because galciv II is there. All I was asking was what the link between the two companies was.

Gentlemen. I regret to infor you that my laptop has undergone serious irrepareble damage. Since I am a man who takes precautions rest assured that I have a backup of my savegame folders for my different games installed. I cannot, however, play the game as there is nothing to play it on. I am currenty looking to buy a new computer. As you can obviously guess this will not happen in a couple of days. I need ot find the time and money to do it. Rest assured though
Chapter VIII: The World's a stage Kora Ra'nagoh system Capital World of House Korath Forbidden Imperial City of Vajik'Dur His Imperial Highness, Skik'da of House Korath, and the true guardian of Drengin honour; Krindar Korath, leaned over a holoprojector. The giant three dimensional map spun around according to his whims. When he wanted a zoom view of a certain section he got it without hesitation. Next to him
Ladies and Gents, i recently discovered that there existed a link between Stardock and Paradox interactive. (Does Paradox own Stardock?). Since I am diehard fan of the Hearts of Iron series created by paradox I occasionally visit the forums for info and questions about the game. I found out that there exists a forum on the Paradox forums site for GalcivII taht seems to be relatively untouched. I am reposting my first AAR "From the Ashes" onto that particular forum in an
Hey guys. managed to edit the last post with pics. next post to hopefully go up before the end of the week though I won't make a promise on that. Work is crazy this week. Cheers

Derek Ohio, party leader of the Federalists, was officially on his campaign tour and was to make a scheduled stop at Alexandria Starbase... in six hours. That left plenty of time for this unofficial visit to Midway Naval Stati

There are a couple of threads up already on that subject and I had the same troubles. here's what I did. 1)Download faststone capture and install it. 2)create an imageshack account 3)upload pictures to imageshack 4)copy URL for "forums" into your post whenever you want to put up a screenie in a forum post Ive never had any problems with either of those programs and all of my pictures ahve always shown up on other people's screens.

Chapter III: A forgotten hero Somewhere on the outer limits of Korath Imperial Space The ship raced home as fast as its engines could muster. The captain checked his gauges and saw that his fusion core was already close to the meltdown point. He signalled engineering to increase power even more. Regardless of the condition of the ship he had no choice. Risk capture and certain death or a core meltdown... the choice was the
plus one karma for eidolon. The SMS Emden was indeed sunk by the HMAS AUstralia, a moder battlecruiser, at the battle of cocos while on a raid. The ship was actually fun aground by her captain to prevent her from sinking saving the lives of much of his crew. On the other hand the captain of the Australia continued to fire on the disabled ship after she had struck her colours bringing dishonour upon himself. Anyways, cheers to eidolon for playing my little history quiz. update

Chapter 2: Government over guns Earth Sol System Capital World of the Federation Capital city of New Johanesberg The once mighty Federation was licking its wounds. Years of warfare with the Imperial Drengin had crippled its economy, and the loss of half of its Navy to the rebellious Helios AI had left its borders relatively undefended. Undefended and unmanned as Helios had proceeded to destroy virtually
Etrius: As you have no doubt noticed, I enjoy forgoing certain dogma of the galciv2 universe, and modifying it to my own ends. What I have done with the Drengin (as a race) is attempt to instill the notion that they are structured by Noble Houses (much like the Klingons for instance, or Houses of the Landsraad in Herbert's Dune). A more concrete example of this would be 19th century Germany prior to the unification built by Bismarck. As such the House always has the last name of the N

Prologue The silent behemoth raced through the vast coldness of dark space. On the surface it resembled any other asteroid. Large, full of craters, and spinning. This asteroid, however, did not lose any of its volume during its trek. Indeed if it had it would have been reduced to a mere pebble at this point for its journey had been long. Since before man could even walk this asteroid had been on an intergalactic trek. It
Hello Fellow AAR Enthusiasts. As it has been remarked by some of us the activity on the AAR forume has been somewhat diminished. We all agree that this is a sad reality, but I reufse to let this damper my project of creating an immersive and intriguing AAR universe that we can all enjoy. The end of "From the Ashes" gave birth to the sentience of the now dangerous Helios AI. How will Mankind react to this new threat? Are the Drengin
