ughhh guys I hate to do this but I have to postpone the next post. I've been able to play to where I want to be in the game from a story-telling perspective, but i haven't been able to get ahead in actually writing it. Sorry folks. Two new puppies, renovations, and a new job. I simply click on the rename ship button on the bottom of the screen. When you click on a ship or starbase or fleet the name comes up as starbase 1432 for instance. simply click or double click on the name and it brings up a small text box that allows you to rename the ship/starbase
