Right but what's a follower?? In this context i chose to try and describe a "follower" as someone who would take more interest in Drengin culture in general by spending money to do so. For instance buying Drengin clothing or music. The amount of money spent would be a good way to gauge how many people are influenced. I dunno... something to work on for sure it was just tough to write into the story properly i find. Alright anough making up excuses lol.

Thank you! That's what I was going for. I did, however, find it very difficult to write in the concept of influence. It's hard to empirically gauge something like that as opposed to a gaming device that says you have x more than the other guy. Relations continue to sour in the next post. cheers
3rd Annual Meeting of the United Planets Council Terran world of Kryo 2 The leaders of men sat at the large oak table across their Drengin counterparts. Nervously they set up their papers and agendas for the day ahead. The Drengin had already been seated and were prepared in advance. Most from the human delegation avoided eye contact with the Drengin and instead kept their focus on themselves as they settled in the comfortable chairs. The mood of the Ter
Happy for Sid. Hope his future stays bright
Cool I knew most of those thigns but I was curious about the efect of ships in orbit. Thanx for the help
Can you do this? Is it like a civ4 concept where a ship in orbit acts as a "garrion" and reduces the chances of the planet defecting?
There has been an interesting development concerning Pirates, but it's won't be until later in the story. I've played this game with the AAR in mind always, meaning I didn't just build ships while I could. Instead the money was put towards social and research. The pieces I put in talking about military budget increases more or less reflect the amount I gradually starting putting into it as I played the actual game. I won't say how but the political situation with the Drengin i
Jordan seems to be a sarcastic person since he rolls his eyes often lol
So funny that the OPs is Dune 2. So was mine! When i saw the title i thought about it and it came to me after i sifted thorugh the cobwebs of my memory. That game was gold. Never played Dune 2000 though or emperor:Battle for Dune. Westwood forever FUCK EA EDIT: i also rememebr playing roger Wilco's Space Adventure. there were like 4 of them i think. ahhh man memories.
I'd say the flyers always have a trick up their sleeves. That series is becoming very interesting.
The DS9 episode last night on space was pretty kickass. nothing like a squad of Klingon BOP rading a planet and noble warriors sacrificing themselves
Go 'nucks Go hmm somethign doesnt sound right
Thanks for your help
TCS Lake Ontario High Orbit Over Athena Drenth System. Captain Nolan commanding. The return to Athena had been smooth if not boring. Since his cryo-tank was still not functional, Nolan was left alone with his thoughts for most of the voyage. He had all the time to review the entire ordeal in his head. He thought back to the altercation on the bridge and what the possible repercussions would be. He tried to think of all the possible scenarios, playing out pooss
BANNED FOR BANNING!!!!!! when does this game end?!?!? ANd if anyone tries to ban me for wondering when the game ends, or using exclamtion/question marks. hell even for using that backslash i will lose it! and don't try to ban me for losing it or trying to stop you from banning lol i realize this is pointless. ban on!
A view that they're all named after US icons is pure perception with no basis.
Although I agree with your previous arguments I must beg to differ on this one. In The Voyage Home Scotty and McCoy meet the chief engineer of which ship??? The American USS Enterprise Aircraft Carrier. It's no mistake or coincidence that the Main ship of the series (an American series) is named after the most f
YEs they did...*loads gun* yes they did *points gun at milan lucic* INdeed we were quite litterally crippled, but that does not excuse the poor performance from our FIT players. Anyways my vote is for Vancouver. Not for the team or becasue i like the city, but for Luongo; A good French Canadian Goalie who never had it easy in the NHL. Pis Crime un Lavalois qui parle Angais! fuck c'est rare ca! I'm not so sure about Gillett being bought out. Personally i hope he
IS there a bug or am i blind and nto able to see my posts??? Edit: never mind
Thank you for pointing that out. It is indeed the Lake Ontario. When i started writing the update last night it was quite late and i didn't realize i had subconsciously changed the name of the ship. Thanks also for the continued support. Its nice to have comments after each update, it helps to give me a sense of purpose in regards to this AAR lol. I also feel like i have a better idea of where the story is going and how the characters will develop. As it was, up until last night i had
Zyxpsilon, are you from montreal? I was surprised to see a fellow habs fan on a forum like this. Your mentioning of the maplethiefs was also quite heartening. I can, of course as im sure you can too, come up with far stronger and less polite adjectives for those pansies. Of course the way we ended our season and the way the first 3 games have gone...well tonight i might be a very angry person in a couple of hours. anyways you get Karma for being a Habs fan and hating t
I actually disliked Nemesis. It was so implausible. The reman`s are a slave race of the romulan`s. How were they able to build the Scimitar? They built this ship in secret did they not? Where did they hide the massive infrastructure needed to build such a ship? Where did they develop the advanced tech it used? Somehow they perfected the tech needed to fire while cloaked
Chapter seventeen: FCS Lake Ontario Outskirts of the Drengin Marshall System Captain Nolan comanding The ship was perfect. In every way and concept the ship was perfect. When Nolan grabbed manual control of it for the first time ever after getting into Orbit, his body had the slightest shake in it. As he increased throttle to escape Athena's gravity well he could hardly contain the tingling senstions pulsating throu
I like all star treks. If star trek is on chances are i will probably watch it. This being playoff season and all however haven't watched one this week. Making a hierarchical taxonomy of my favorite series would look like the following TNG- Of course Picard is a bad ass mother@#$ and I like the interactions between Worf and his human counterparts. TOS - Simply because it's what started it all. Everything in Star trek derives form it. Voyage
