the Dyson Sphere builders, and then wasn't there a race with city ships in VOY? You did not upset me with this. And read my post more carefully next time, I'm not trying to insult you, just saying that outside a few non-Q-races not much could go toe-to-toe with the Forerunner and have a chance. I would say the T'kon Empire and the Dyson Sphere builders could fight and have a chance at winning, at worse it would be a tie for them.
but halo doesnt get forerunner's...the
1. I was just wondering if just Flood vs Borg which you think would win. I go with the Flood, we all know that outside a few races ST has nothing on the Forerunner.
no frieken idea... i have to assume that ultimately the physical form of the borg would win....the nanites spread endlessly throughout biomass(except for 8472...haxx0rz) but it ultimately comes down to a contest of the wills between the queen and the gravemind. my money's on the queen.
flood are invalid. once the flood come into the picture, everyone dies (including the flood. tehy consuming everything alive and then die out). so no one wins the only way to bypass borg shield modulation was to use frequency modulated weaponry, something the covenant has in no way been proven capable of.

amazing how much vasari started sucking all round ever since carriers got nerfed.
It has nothing to do with continuity or them forgetting, the rocket launcher models between Halo 2 and 3 are different. They changed it for balance reasons, having a one or two hit kill that homes in on players is a little ridiculous. The homing feature was taken away from the rocket launcher in Halo 3 and given to the Missile Pod, which takes several shots to kill most things.
so they still are m
related issue is the DPS of Vasari cap ships. Why are these so low? Why does the Vulkoras do 41 DPS compared to a Marza 54 or even an Akkan's 50. Don't give me that crap about the Akkan being a side-shooter. Skirantra does 24 DPS compared to Sova's 36. There is no excuse for that. What fun is it to have a tac nuke drop on your head, because in the books the Wrath's blast destroys everything in a 20 meter radius. well, hell, tanks in halo can't even do jack shit to a jeep. source:halo 3. the thing just gets topped in its tracks then takes off again. on the other hand, im sure the enterprise is quite capable of destroying a tank...or a ship :) oh yeah and either the halo books or games have to be thrown out...in books plasma pistols /rifles were uber strong, like a 2 hit kill, in the games they don't do jack.

if you make squadrons cost money then leave cap carriers with free squadrons (since their fabication facilities are far beyond what carrier cruisers could possibly have) same for hangers. that unto itself would be buffing cap carriers.
