Will there be a black hole frequency setting? I'd like to be able to make these rare.

It seems like GCIII economy has changed somewhat since this was written, will someone do a version 2? Including things like adjacency bonuses and unique tile bonuses. I'm not sure currently how all the numbers add up. Thanks!
I still don't like the planet level production slider being a separate screen. Why not just incorporate this into the main planet screen on the left? I'd gladly lose the rotating planet image if it meant that I could manage my planets from one screen.

I really don't want to be responsible for creating game content though. ToA should be considered the definitive version of GCII now, so should have been a starting point for GCIII. I'd like to see 12 races at a minimum.
I don't see the big deal about star names, you have to mouse over them to see them, how distracting can it be? Scrolling through the list of approved names, I don't see any that irritate me.
I'm not going to spend too much time designing ships in the alpha and beta phase. You never know when an update will break them.
Constant peace should be an option if the player wants to go for it. So should trading techs, ships, planets, anything really. I want as many options as possible. Plus it's fun when the Drengin demand my home planet.
I fully support my decision to support this game. That having been said, I very much hope the game gets more fleshed out, rather than simply activating the disabled tech in the trees. At the moment, it feels "bare bones", like a third or so of the tech and options are AWOL. Wonders of the Universe? Ah, we have the Restaurant... and... the Restaurant. Amazing! ...where
There's just the 8 in the base game. Which I think is a little light. Especially given some of the larger galaxy sizes.
research speed ajdustments were in GCII, so I assume they'll be in GCIII.
I assume eventually we'll be able to select a game pacing speed during galaxy set up.
On the fence, well the game is not a remake of GC II. Lets clarify this up front. From the beginning the game is going to be GC II with more of everything and better. It will still be the same gameplay and still have the same players...but. Better. Hexes instead of squares. 64 bit for maps that are mindbogglingly big!</li
It's probably because there's only 4 races right now, so on a huge map you're very spread out.
All these jokes built into the game centering around decisions are funny, but going a little overboard. Stop doing schtick, every decision has some silly joke built into it. A joke every now and then is nice, but jokes get old and it comes at price of immersion.
That's a classic GalCiv thing. But I agree that a little goes a long way.
It looks like maybe someone liked my idea of giving starbases and starports basic defensive capabilities because it seems they have it now! [e digicons]^_^[/e]
The large and huge should be much larger. Theoretically, many fighters can fit inside that size ship.
Quoting charon2112, reply 150 I'd rather they just add dynasties to LH, amd leave WoM dead. They've replaced it with better games. I hope if they do that, they make it either a DLC (with only that, I don't want to miss other content)
yes! Please! I liked the having kids/marrying them off aspect. Done now, with the improved AI/relations from LH, that would be awesome.
I'd rather they just add dynasties to LH, amd leave WoM dead. They've replaced it with better games.
Why no cool GCIII manual like this?
Nope. (Sorry so brief, answering on ipad)
cool beans. Thanks Brad.
One more- there's been talk of a major announcement, something we would never guess or know about, is SK that game?
