I totally agree. Diplomacy and an economic build are my play-styles too. Rather than focusing on combat and magic improvements, I'd prefer SD works on the diplomacy system. [e digicons]k1[/e]

Now it really seems like your children were designed to take over for your sovereign.

There should be a two ring limit, one on each hand. and one amulet.

I use shortcut keys constantly in TBS games. I find it very convenient.
I like your ideas about being able to build unique buildings on more of the terrain. That would be a fantastic addition. OR, if you lose your sovereign and don't have a suitable heir, you lose. That would add a whole new layer of importance to marrying and having kids.
1. More personality and distinction between "races". Right now they're almost all the same, with different color skin. 2. More "uniqueness" to the environment and buildings in cities. Every city really is the same as the last. Where is the Elemental equivalent of really high quality planets from Galciv 2?? The joy of discovering these random gems was awesome. 3. Tons and tons of random events, these were so great in GC2, I can't believe they're n
When I receive a magical item as a reward do I have to "use" it to get the benefit? For instance, a magical compass I received says in the description that my sight has increased +1, but it kind of makes it sound like just carrying it increases my sight. Do I have to use these items to get the results? Thanks...

Compare that to the full-of-life cities of Elemental. Fully animated, little people going about their lives, talking, working. Flags wave, windmills turn...I wouldn't say Civ V is more polished.

So, resources seem very sparse and spaced out. My question is...do you guys build cities only near these resources, so your cities are very spaced out? Or do you build cities in between where there are no resources? Thanks... :)

Sorry if this is a repeat post, the search function seems to be broken. So, would you guys mind sharing your early (or mid and end) game strategies. Like, what resources do you go for first? What buildings do you think are most important? How often, and how many cities do you build? Thanks. [e digicons]|-)[/e]
