[/quote] This was solved for me by using my email address instead of my account name to access multiplayer in the game. After I did that once, I could log in with my account name.
By disabling drwatson I was finally able to get an error message for the program not loading: --------------------------- Demigod.exe - Application Error --------------------------- The exception unknown software exception (0xc0000409) occurred in the application at location 0x00d2b33f. I have no idea what this means but maybe someone here does :D

Shirley, I followed your steps, no help. If I try to launch the executable by itself (C:\Program Files\Stardock Games\Demigod\bin\Demigod.exe) it appears in the task manager process list for a moment and then dissapears. Impulse isn't even open at this time. When I try to run the game from
