You can get a custom game going - especially with friends - but I wouldn't bother with pantheon. Feel free to hit me up if you see me on. :)

Lords of Magic is by far one of my favoritestest games, and its too bad the graphics are so antiquated that its not worth playing. I still remember the tremors I got when seeing the Lord of Death walking around. And then my computer crashing randomly. I really liked the mesh they had of RTS and turn style gaming.

You should worry about simspeed, and not about skill level. On the sim speed note, if you disable reverb you might increase your sim speed. :) Pantheon has some known issues with matchups. It is purely luck of the draw. As for the health stacking Regulus, well, if he has more health than you and you're rook, you're doing something wrong.

Past the issues, I really like Demigod's gameplay. My main problem is a lack of a premade match making system and ladder. HoN and LoL were on my radar, but after seeing the gameplay videos I'm just not interested. I played Warcraft 3 to death, and neither of these games seem improved enough to be worth playing. I suspect that while they may be popular now, StarCraft 2 - and its new focus on purchasable maps - is going to wipe them off the board. One of the th

I really like this idea. It would be abused if you could give the same user karma every time you played with them - premades that use the unstable gamestate, for instance, could give positive karma for all of their 100 wins. :P What if you rated each player you played with 1-10 based on friendliness? If you added that with the ability to see both your rating for someone and their average rating in the lobby, you would both know if you've had a bad experience with them, and w

From what I remember, there are two reasons why it failed - one is that there haven't been enough studies to conclude that it is better than qwerty (historical studies were very biased on both sides of the argument). The other is that even if you concede that Dvorak is better than Qwerty, the cost of training a typist up to proficiency in Dvorak is not worth the gain in efficiency. There was an article that went a step further to say that the money was better spent improving their

My friend list has grown too big for my friend's Vent server, so I've now opened my own - The Gentlemen's Club. It is available for public Demigod use. If you're looking for a casual spot to play, this is the ticket. If you're looking for premade action, PM me and we'll talk. HOST NAME: vent11.gameservers.com PORT: 4520 PASSWORD: cash only

Looks like Stardock ended up with the short end of the stick: http://pantheon.demigodthegame.com/game/918582/player/10397/ <a id="ctl00_ContentPlaceHolder1__GamePlayersList_ctl01__Player" href="http://pantheon.demigodthegame.com/player/2584

Right now, war score is a progressive feature which forces the match torwards a particular point. If you let people spend war score, you essentually rid the game of this very essential feature. In pro matches, you very rarely see teams suddenly get everything - you usually see them progressively fighting torwards the end. It is a good idea, but it should not be implimented.

I was experimenting with changing my user name with a friend (We were ImNotAPremade/MeEither). The change went through fine, but I just tried to change back to "Impossible", my old username, and it said that the username was already in use. It does not seem like someone else snatched up that username, however. Any chance I can get my old name back?

I appreciate the information. I'm still debating whether I will purchase it - with so many great games coming up - but I really want to support Stardock, so it will definately play a roll in my decision.

Trying Sedna with Pounce and then healing as your secondary primary might solve your DPS problems, but still give you enough healing to turn the tide. I try to use my monks to heal me as much as possible, and only use heal in dire situations. Adding mage slayer to the build would finish it off nicely.

What kind of Sedna build were you playing? And what maps are you planning on playing vs. PCG? You can have a lot of fun pushing speed with Sedna, running in and pouncing and running out, letting monks heal you, then running in again. That having been said, I've never had much luck staying in a game that goes long with a Sedna, but I've seen people do it. I highly recommend getting experience at a few guys, then pick your characters based on what they pick. For
