With this latest update to Start11, you have fixed the bane of Windows 11. The inability to ungroup taskbar buttons has had me head back to Windows 10. I am so grateful that Start11 fixed that issue and will tell everyone to get it. I just hope Windows 11 doesn't send an update that breaks it again. Grouped taskbar icons reduce productivity dramatically when one must quickly alternate among several open windows!

I am running Windows 8.1 and realized that it is a permissions issue. What worked for me was to change the security settings for every .exe file in the Stardock folder for ALLOW ALL APPLICATIONS to allow everything, same as administrator settings. Then I used the registry tweak "Take Ownership" to take ownership of the Windows directory and the Program Data\Microsoft\ directory (It's a hidden folder). Once I had done that, all icons, including live icons display correctly.
