Actually starbases happen to be of limited effectivness because of this, at least if you go against a human enemy. So maybe there are people who don't know this goes for normal speed, so better to make it clear.
The value of 40 you were given, which is also the value the game's wiki states, appears to be too high. A 100% allegiance planet with 80 pop produces 2.3/s (~35 pop/credit), and one with 40 has a rounded-down displayed value of 1.1/s. Homeworld's 480 pop @ 110% allegiance produces 19.8 creds/s, which gives us a value of ~33 pop/credit. Enemy homeworld's 100 pop @ 40% allegiance yields 1.1/s, which suggests a value of ~36 pop/credit. Lo
1. Vasari has better population growth, though still Advent benefits the most. 2, Culture is still a weak thing and can be countered quite well.. You are right, this social specialization is good, as Advent in AI games I rarely build trade ports now, and still have a relatively good economy.. I only need trade ports if my starting position lacks high-pop planets..
WOW, looks good :) An idea came into my mind: you should make some nice pics where loyalists and rebels are "hating" each other (from one race, no matter which, so like Tec Rebel VS Tec Loyalists, or the Advent or Vasari ones), so a fight maybe, or an argument? Or a two part picture showing the two faction's leaders and armadas maybe (focusing on titans, because so few things are faction specific in appearance..)? I don't know any pictures that are of this topic
FOR TEH LULZ how i hate Armistice... only way to stop it if you make AI jump several times in a row, and hope he does not have his culture improved to refill antimatter.. but he always does.
but it happen out side of the giant gas too
Yes, I remember this too, pictures would be good, showing that this happens at an xy type planet too, I think the effect of Gas Giants sticks on the ship that leaves that gravity well for some time. I will explain why. In my recent game I am Vasari Loyalist, having an Advent Rebel ally, and a Tec Loyalist and a Vasari Loyalist opponent, all AI. I have a good economy, have some nice planets on random medium large (my favourite map, it gives some breathing space). So, the problem is, the unfair AI's both have all the fancy stuff from TEC and Vasari pacts, and it is shockingly strong.. without a full fleet they are very dangerous.. With a Vorastra and 2-3 level5+

What was your strategy Timmaigh with the stripping?
