OK, I found it. I should have read the small print in the e-mail but in my defence the page that comes up when you click the download button in the e-mail has nothing to do with downloading the DLC. What a stupid system! Normally when you buy stuff and click the download button you are taken to a page where you download it, not a website that has no purpose other than to try to sell you stuff. &

I hate Steam! I bought the Forbidden Worlds DLC and got the e-mail from StarDock with the download button pressed it and was taken to Steam but can't find the download? There seems to be nothing relating to any of the games I have bought. I have gone into my Steam account on my desktop as well, it doesn't show up there either? Can anyone help please?
I am playing one of the new maps against AI - just the two of us (real cosy). Their Titan (Ankylon) and my Titan (Eradica) are having a long fight. They keep sending ships to support it but my Titan is on its own with no support at all. My Titan (level 10) keeps destroying their ships, their Titan keeps levelling up. I thought you only gained experience when enemy or third party ships were destroyed NOT when your own ships go boom. Is this a glitch or can the AI buy level ups
In Rebellion, the TEC seem to produce a lot of Akkan class battlecruisers. As I play against AI at Cruel Random or Vicious Random level, they are able to level up to 6 or 7 and use the pacifying ability to stop fighting. This makes battles very frustrating because as soon as one pacifier finishes they use another. I was trying to fight a fleet which had five Akkans. If two TEC are allies then it becomes even more frustrating! I think the TEC should be limited to one Akkan each and the
Build the Radiance class battleship as your first capital ship as it has a powerful armament and armour upgrades. Don't build the biggest empire you can, just go for as many planets as it takes to build all 16 research stations. Then build a starbase at all the outer planets. As others have said, do not go for extractor upgrades until later, they are not worth the resources wasted on them until you are ready to expand. Upgrade the starbases first, especially the Mass Disorientatio
In Beta1 I could use my saved maps but in Beta2 I can't. The maps and editor have disappeared. I like to make my own maps because then i can get the game balance I want while playing at the hardest level. I hope they will return!
I wonder if their is a difference in the use of Titans in games against AI and games against another person? I only play against AI (I know: Billy no mates!) and I would prefer not to have the Titan return to the same level. I play 10 opponents on a Huge map at Vicious Random level using my the map designer to even it up (no wormholes and lots of pirates). If my Titan is destroyed then I can build another and get experience points to level up. Maybe it should be an option in the
Next time I am not going to bother researching the pirate mercenaries. I want to control how many and what type of ships I have and where they are! I think that either the mercenaries should be free of supply or get rid of them. It's like paying for satellite TV but it is beamed to a TV in any house in your street at random.
I only played with the Advent Loyalist Titan and got it to level 8 or 9 and I thought it was ridiculously weak. I play as Advent a lot because I like their capital ships but I am not sure this Titan is worth the loss of 2 of them. I didn't really like any of it's abilities. I think it might have been better to equip it with a version of the sub light engine disabler that you get on the Advent spacestation. One curious thing I have found when started a ne
The strange thing is that the TEC part of Rebellion crashes on me every hour or so almost like clockwork, the Advent update didn't crash once and I played it all of yesterday till about 9.30pm (maybe 12 hours total running time!). I have gone back to the TEC (no choice really) and it still crashes just like before.
