you can't remove it. it's not really a menu either, it's a "quick search" tool. just close it as it doesn't need to be open constantly

one of the best free turn based games i've ever played is battle for wesnoth. in fact, one of the best games i've ever played

first you should define the difference you mean by tactis and strategy. anyways, your ships generally handle things on their own. a lot of peopel are handling 2 or more battles at once on larger maps, and you can't micro them all. your ships will activate abilities if necessary, and if you force is adequate and well balanced, it will defeat the opposition. they only thing you have to do is just know when to retreat. if you are glancing over your

well your allies don't have the technology to do that do they? I mean they would literally have to have vasari engines, which they don't if they are not vasari, so actually, logically, no it doens't make sense for them to use phase stabalizers.

Can someone please tell me what they mean when they say "kiting fighters". It sounds like it needs a lot of micro thanks, dresda

wow we are getting completely off topic here...but i'll continue going on a tangent. as for the one who said that the vasari have a better starting cap...that's false. the progenetor is the best starting cap. discount on planet colonization, healing abilities with a certain area to keep ships alive, and malice to spread more damage, also don't forget ressurection, which gives instant levels to a cap ship of another one dies.

Hey everyone, I have a question about the malice ability of the Progen. It says it propogates 30% of damage. Can someone tell me exactly what this means please? I heard it was also a good combination with the Rapture's ability Vengeance. thanks

i don't think that the guardians' abilities need to be balenced. remember, the soak up damage, which means if an advent player as a large fleet, and it's soaking up 33% of damage done to ships, it's going to get destroyed rather quickly.

remember people that the illum does have 3 beam cannons, the math works out if you do it. this is not a broken feature, it's just that the illum is a better LRM than the assailant

Hmmm well I play advent quite a bit. To be honest, compared to the cost of other HC's and their effectiveness, the Destra is quite cheap and pacts quite a punch conisidering it's shields. However, it's kinda tough to get them earlier in the game. You are better off just sticking to illums early on in the game, mixed with guardians, since they are on the same research tier. Destras can become effective later on in the game. If you are playing the AI, destras could

hmmm...my first thoughts are how can you know that this is your favorite race if you have no clue how to play them? Try experimenting with other races as well.

Never make cap fleets period. They die, and it's a waste of money. Advent is, however, known for its synergistic abilities. The holy trinity (Progen, Radiance, and Rapture), with fighters and guardians combo called the battle ball is quite effective. Just create that fleet as a defensive move, and you'll have an force to be reckoned with
