Regardless of your thoughts of "Unleash the Skill" might be, Hunter is the class i have by-far-and-away the most overall deckbuilding experience with so it's going to be something i'll be using a lot :) Not to mention Hunter has some of the The 2nd deck is ez-pz Priest bait, but unfortunately i don't have any priest cards, nor do i have Alex. Like i said, i tried Druid first but i think Druid is going to be too-slow for a lot of the heroic content...

Played around and beat Naxx + Heroic Naxx today. i was careful to avoid any spoilers, but here's how i did it if y'all are interested. Otherwise, feel free to figure it out yourself! It's a fun deckbuilding excersize. All bosses have 45 HP, and OP hero powers. Wing #1: He is similar to a Warlock. His hero power is 2 mana for a 4/4, and he is very smart about spamming that shit. He has Mortal Coil, a flamestrike that heals him

Ranked Post-Mortem Today we tried swapping out me to support and pacov to Caitlyn ADC, due to our issues last night with being level 2'd. Game 1. Nami/Cait v Ezrael/Thresh - Team is a premade team of diamonds with the same nametag We end up poking them really hard level 1. We put a lot of damage on WW, but we forget he's actually WW-top and not WW-jungle, so it doesn't really matter since he just TPs back and walks to lane rather than being slow to first bu
So - perhaps we need to think more about when we invade with respect to lanes if we are concerned about the level 2 power. We can probably decide that in the lobby in advance. We just need to evolve the usually lets go poke their red and perhaps just ward it (map side dependent ofc).
There's other ways to play around the enemy level 2. Other supports (Thresh w/ Flay level 1, Morgana) have pretty decent pushing power level 1 and can help

So just to kind of put my observations from tonight in written form this is kind of how both games went down: Game 1: Kog, Nami v Trist, Leona - Botlane is Silver/Gold. Mid/Top/Jungle are Plat/Diamond/Diamond We leash, they do a really shitty level 1 push that puts the wave in a bad spot so we escape the level 2. We end up doing pretty well and we nearly get a kill level 3, but Maokai shows up to back us off, but no wasted summoners. Around level 5, we end up going 2-for-1, th

Hmmm, not sure if i agree with you there. What you're doing is saying "if you enjoy a champion enough to play 100 games with them, it doesn't matter if they are B or A- tier if you go play them in ranked". i agree with that sentiment. However, there's a few things you're neglecting: 1. Besides the GP discussion, we've been talking about "learning" new champions (more specifically: pacov learning champs). You can no longer appeal to having 100+ games of expe

pre-6: Yes, Rengar is better than WW, which is what i said. But it's still really awful (worse than Skarner) and Skarner is not known for being an early-game ganker. He is much more capable of low-level jungle brawls. He might farm slightly faster, but WW can farm forever so it's kinda a draw there. This is why Rengar is more viable in competitive play than WW. Level 6: i really disagree with your assessment of power. Without flash, Rengar has one of t
I'm really enjoying the full tank jungle rango. Lots of fun to play as. Prob log some more time with him tonight.
With how much you dislike Karl playing WW since it "screws up" teamcomps, isn't jungler Rengar even worse? Rengar is much better in low-level counterjungling situations, and he has "some" gank pressure (although it's pretty awful), so i'll give you that. But his gank pressure is worse t

If your play rate is 40%, it shouldn't be a huge surprise that your winrate is really close to 50%. The fact that it is above 50% with such a huge playrate says she's really good. There was also the bug-fix on her autoattacks that was a benefit (she could autoattack thru Yasuo walls and attacked 0.25 seconds faster than her animation showed).
I also dislike picks that force you into behaving a certain way - all really enforced by a champion pick. That's not to say some of those picks are bad; I just don't like em. For instance, a ww jungle means no pressure until he hits 6. Knowing that, lanes have to adapt and are typically put in a position of having ganks from the enemy team and none for you team. In short it puts you into a position where you can fall behind, but then have the ex

If it only takes one ability to make a champion fit a teamcomp, why does that not apply to gangplank? (both have similar engagement and disengagement value). Furthermore, GP ult allows him to have some global presence to counter the Karthus. What do you need to do when you're getting 3v2'd + Karthus ult? Run away. GP ult helps you do that and prevents additional deaths. This is "yet another" thing that GP does in that particular matchup.
1 - yes, no longer serious imo based on that pick. That's not saying in anyway he's throwing or trying to feed. That's saying he picked a weak champ (imo) that made it so the other lanes would have to carry to win and that his carrying would likely be staying mid, tossing an ult out here and there, and eventually... after quite some time, taking out his tower. A safe, selfish pick imo when I asked for a decent pick (a decent champ that might be ab

You saw that he built an IE after SS right? That's making pretty full use of the crit damage, and IE amplifies the damage of SS as well. And all champs (except supports) have to buy items to do things? What ADC has this awesome built-in lifesteal that they don't have to build to make up for it? You have two ways to beat Karthus: 1- beat the absolute crap out of him in laning phase and close the game before 40 minutes so he is irrelevant 2- match/out-far

Huh? SS is an item for ADCs with poor waveclear (or want to augment the teams waveclear) or powerful AS scaling with weaker Crit scaling (champs with no AD ratios who didn't build IE and decided to go BotRK or Trinity instead). Stuff like Vayne, Trist or Kogmaw. The reason SS is a weaker item on ADCs is because they don't need abilities to do damage. They don't benefit as much from the additional base damage on an 8 second CD.

well you can hardly blame bot lane crumbling based off of your midlane pick :) Unless it's something like Fizz v TF. i suppose my point was mostly focused on why pacov would be unhappy with a GP. Pacov enjoys those strong, independent midlaners who don't need no-help (or blues!), and i'd argue that GP is probably one of the strongest laning midlaners you can offer, which is why he's a decent pick against Karthus. However, he still flounders in the 3v1, which wa
