[4:14] DanKnee: In response to your "Anyone know if you could hit plat after 10 games on SR in ranked 5's?" Yeah it's possible How Riot implemented it afaik is that they factor in solo queue mmr into the 5s ranked those who are playing during the placements/provisionals anyway Because when Obese was talking to you about the ranked 5s team yesterday yeah we threw a 5s team together just for funsies go

you probably shouldn't be deleting posts about a topic you started (even if you asked to stop). If Thunder wants to talk with Karl about things, that's his prerogative. If you're worried about it "offending" a particular person, they actually endorsed that post and thought it was well-said. Anyway, bruiser K6 got nerfed. "True asasssin" K6 got buffed. He's got a 3.8 AD ratio on his Q now, if its against an isolated target. Easier said-than-done t

it's the quintessential debate between trying to augment your late game or your early game... Ignite is clearly superior while ganking (it's not like Shaco has any problems ganking, unlike Master Yi). It's pretty decent in a 1v1 (obviously better than TP!) but it's really not that great in teamfights. TP is going to be better (overall) end game because it lets you split push a lot safer. Ignite is going to be a lot better if you decide to start focusing mor

well part of it is it that Karl and Cow tend to be on the "group early and often" side of the rubric, whereas pacov tends to be "split whenever possible". Obviously split pushing is not the incorrect thing to do always-and-forever, and split pushing is one of those things that Shaco is really good at. However, split pushing usually requires a few things (not in any particular order): 1- the ability to 1v1 anyone who comes 2- the ability to escape 1v2s (or be really tan

@pacov: Yeah sorry, i was talking more about NinCA. Like i said, i probably play at a mid-low Gold atm which would be a liability on a team composed of plats to low diamond. Especially from mid. While i don't mind subbing for your team (and if you need a sub this Sunday or w.e that's fine), i understand your team is MadCast focused. Plus, you really want to be the driving shot caller. Which is fine. But i know that was a problem for NinCA. If you want me to po

While thanks for the offer, i don't think it's going to be practical for me for awhile. First of all, school is nuts. Second, my skills have really deteriorated over the past few months and i think i'd end up just being a liability. On the other hand, i could take up a coaching/analyst role. There's a few reasons that can work: 1- generally i tend to follow the high-elo meta and professional games a little more than some of the other peop

well i looked around and i guess even though the LAN servers are hosted in Florida, they were actually talking amount moving the BR servers. Which used to be hosted in Florida as well but are now hosted in Brazil. Since LAN is for Venezula, Mexico, and the Caribean i don't think they'll actually be moving LAN to say Mexico... i mean if you have a cheap ~level 30 smurf you haven't spent any money on ... transferring it over to LAN might be fine because worst case yo

#LAN: i have a few questions about what you're trying to achieve by transferring to LAN. Ping: Although it's true that most challengers do have < 50 ms ping, that isn't unilaterally true. Quas got to Challenger while playing in Venezula with like a 150 ms ping. Nightblue3 is like 5th in challenger and has like 90 ms ping. (he's also a jungler and i'd argue junglers generally have less requirements for high performance ping because

#UI: it'd be nice if you didn't have the shop screen over teamfights after you died :) some people like to watch the action. Plus you usually don't wanna buy items right after you die (unless it is GP10) because the enemy can see the items you purchase if they can see your corpse. But i feel like in general, less is more? Maybe make the ticker/marquee a little larger for when you're out of game. It's fine for in-game. #psy: i

Now, i don't know the game that you're talking about and if i was in it / watching / whatever. And assuming that it is Karl who reamed you about Baron :P First of all, you do have a habit of splitpushing often as a support. Sometimes that's fine, there's gold dying to tower... things are warded... no real objectives... neither team is grouped... etc. Some supports are just flat-out better at splitpushing than other. Fiddle kills stuff a lot faste

Well Bryff, Alex Ich played Kass in the 4.5 patch playoffs today. Alex is probably one of the best Kass players in the world, so you've got that. He went Flask > Rod of Ages > Icebourne Gauntlet. He grabbed Merc Treads because he was against Lulu. i think that Lucidity/Sorc Shoes are going to be better against people who don't have 2 second point-and-click CC.
I'd probably rate myself Diamond V/IV at this point... I'd just have to work my butt off to get there, but its obtainable. But I mean, great -I can look impressive to my pals and brag..
well, i think that is the point of Diamond. Diamond is hard to get, you have to work your butt off (unless you are like a Diamond III+ from last year), and that's what makes it so impressive.

yah that is what Trick2g does on Udyr, "Weedwick" and sometimes Volibear. To be more clear since i had a grammar error: "kill the big wraith. By then your smite will be up/almost up, so you can go do red and leave the little guys. After red, you can come back and clear the little guys while you are level 3 with red buff".

5,007 Replies 11,267,223 Views

you can take this in another direction with some single-target junglers like WW that are really slow in first clear. Let's say you start blue buff, and you decide to go do wraiths (warding your red buff while you do them to prevent the steal). Rather than fully killing all the wraiths, just kill the big one. Then go do red. Your smite will be back up and when you come back to the wraith camp, you will be level 3 with red buff, which allows you to kill the 3 little guys much faster

Adding to this: Although i think his level 4-5 is pretty weak, his level 2 is pretty redic if you can WQW. His rank 1 ult is 500 damage + his passive. However, since it's hard to actually kill people just randomly :P i found out at the ~8 minute mark if you can just tag someone with a good Q, ult them? It does enough damage you will probably force them to either chug health potions or go base, thereby mostly wasting their first blue. Fizz is a hard m
