Beta 3A has several issues that may not be bugs but do seem to impact the flow of the game: 1. The AI for the other soverigns uses the same tactic in each game start. They build one city and then pump out pioneer units to found more cities. Almost always they very quickly surround the player's first city. I have watched these new cities and their tactic is also to pump out more and more pioneers. I am not sure that the gameplay w
I just updated to BETA 3A. It does not even run at Windows XP SP3 at all. It shows an error message as it is creating a world or just freeze. BETA 3A works great on both Vista SP2 and 7 systems. No random crash so far. No resolution issues even though their graphic cards are much less spec than the one with XP. I really hope the final game will run at Windows XP SP3 without any problem. I persona
In addition, July 16 is our feature lock date. Not our gold date. After July 16th, it's all bug fixes and polish. If you're certain the game just won't be ready, you are free to hold off on playing it.
you shouldnt be so harsh since many of us already bought the game and i think we deserve respect 16th july as feature lock looks scary to many of us since the beta we
In my suggestion the shards are well defended and require advanced units and/or spells to overcome. You will have to invest time and resources into getting them. They are not for early game grabs.
well defended shards is a good idea, but right now the game doesnt seem to go in that direction, if they do i could agree with your idea
Food res
I actually really like the raise land spell. It has a much cooler, magical and powerful feel to it than just walking across water. I'd just like to see a more powerful version of it at higher intelligence levels to allow the creation of mountains. You should also eventually be able to sink land below water. Not to mention a strategic AoE spell to protect land from alteration. Water-walking should actually be a more powerfu
