there is a easy way: allow only 1 kind of demigod for team i would do it static but as alternative you can just add it as option, the host decides if its allowed or not to take 2 copies of the same demigod
Camp #3: The Merchant Reduced 72%Original 788 x 445 Today we looked at the feedback from here and Quarter to Three and came up with a way that may satisfy both camps and increases the fun overall. 1. Everything is a resource. 2. Resources can be processed into other resources (iron to swords, crops to food, crystal to potions). 3. Resources are sent automatically to other towns based on the resource needs of that
Please keep that. I really enjoy this kind of things in Settlers, Anno or Caesar. It give more "reality" to the system, it's not just some data with +10, +5 in dozen of crappy table. Bust most of all, don't do it like Civilization. For me it's not fun, it's not simple, and it's an old system. And I already played it, like many other people who have played turn based games.
totally agree civ has
So, late game Camp #1 (where EVERYTHING is a resource that gets shiped around) has you managing up to 110 types of resources (and possibly up to 9 resources on TURN 1!). Camp #2 has you managing a minimal (but fun) 20 resources in late game. Can you tell which camp I'm in?
well 20 seems a bit low even if much depends on other things you have to do in game btw
The Argument Camp 1 argues that a lot of fun can be had in putting together ever more sophisticated and specialized items. If natural resources can be processed into new resources that can in turn be processed again and again and again, you can reward players who might be able to equip elite crack soldiers with very rare but very powerful weapons and armor. Camp 2 argues that while some people would enjoy that, it would result in a lot of people who wo
Now, to be crystal clear: Elemental is a single player centric game. It will have multiplayer but to be honest, I’m not willing to sacrifice a single feature of the game for multiplayer.
well i dont get it i dont want a multiplayer only game but EVERY game in the 2009 has to be a good multi game after you play with ia try different races or avatars or whatever YOU WANT to play with

If we simply allow people to quit once things start going against them, where's the incentive to keep playing? Oh well gg, time to find the next match. Imagine a 2v2 where one person quits and there's no AI replacement. Well in that case the other person on his team is royally screwed. I don't care what DG y
The idea is to play aggressively against the rook. Ever since I've seen how the towers CAN be OP, whenever I play against a rook we all just gang up on him until he's useless and they don't have any control over neutral terrority anyway to place towers. You have to keep rook submissive from the beginning--a tower rook's goal is to maintain control over middle territory, so if you don't give him a foothold he is never a threat.
&nbs
Quoting ddd888, reply 8 Quoting PurplePaladin, reply 19It's a fairly simple calculation: A Player quits; if replaced by an AI, the AI feeds the enemy team; you lose (usually, not always).. you forget 1 thing who quits usually is a bad player 90% of times so after he prolly ruined others game he must be penalized, lets not forget that!!! That's not true at all.
well you make a very good point. but the odds of one guy actually having enough money and buying that stuff and being lvl 20 are like .1% per game. the easiest way would be to cut mana regen in mist, or even just to cut the total mana regen rate.
thats the point, and over all WHATS the sense in that? sure it would make opponent pissed
So how can we fix this? Simple. Institute a system where more expensive favor items cannot be used until a certain war rank/level. Probably war rank, as this would guarantee the game had progressed to the point where the opponent would have the chance to buy items that would give them a chance.
this is ridicolous totally nosense first you would have to rewrite completely favor items, and
One of the things that I have felt really bad about is that players are made to feel like they can't concede a game lest they be called "rage quitters". What GPG and us are talking about is adding a concede option so that people can exit the game and help move the game along. My proposal is that when someone concedes, they leave the game, get their favor points in progress and that Demigod is GONE (not replaced by AI). What d

well the idea is not bad and could even be useful but the demigod is a kind of game where ppl love more just to "plug and play" i still look more forward to a pantheon for teams and a good matchmaking in there for teams or friends or whatever, scheduling is more like a wow thing, you schedule since you have 25 ppl to meet in demigod the good thing is playing with 2 3 friends, you usually dont schedule with those, you just find them online and play, unless its some big tourname
