Thanks for the guide! I'd actually done all this, but whenever I go to http://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/ to check my ports, apparently they're closed. I found it rather bamboozling. But when I use that PortForward.com program and check 6100 UDP it tells me it's open. Does this matter, or would you say the PortForward.com program knows what it's talking about? (Not literally, of course, as
Hey, I'm just wanting to check if favour is working for everyone since the latest update, or if it's just me. In each custom game since the update I have 2460 points, and items I'm buying aren't saving. So even though I'm rebuying them each time, I'm not losing any favour, or gaining for that matter, it just restores to 2460 each time. If everyone else is getting a similar thing, no worries, but if I'm the only one, then maybe I should be worried. Just checking.

I'd say take his rather obvious tips (certainly not "pro") since they do make sense. Maybe I'd take him more seriously if he didnt offend everyone just by opening his mouth.
Fair enough. But I think

Yeah, fair enough, but if you had karma, what would you use mana for? It seems like the third thing is going to: a. make mana pointless if it's not used or b. make it hard to manage a character if you're looking at health, mana and the other one
Multiple types of mana are a bad idea, especially since karma will always be the limiting factor when casting. It'd be better to just replace basic mana with karma. While you're at it, you may as well scale it up and call it mana. I'm not prepared to comment on the ability design, but ditch the gimmick.
I don't think replacing mana with karma would be that radical. If they do want to mix things up it could j
They've been working on it like crazy. And keeping everyone up to date almost daily. I don't think this post is going to make them work any harder, or make them sit back and reflect and think "Hmm... perhaps something isn't quite right with this game." They know about it.
Yeah I wouldn't forget about this guy if I were you, I think it's pretty cool, and an ancient mage-looking character would add a nice change to the characters in place I reckon. Do you think they would actually implement karma as an alternative to mana though? I'm guessing the karma would have to be displayed on-screen somewhere.
That's good in my opinion. It's very damaging how it is.

What you can do is right click on the item to drop it on the ground, then move over 1-2 feet and drop the other item on the ground and then pick them up in the order you want them show up in your inventory.
Ahh hadn't thought of that, thanks. ;) I wonder if they'll change it so you can drag items to new slots easily?<

Just remembered a question I had on the topic of items, is it possible to order your items, i.e. place them in different slots? Occasionally I use the wrong item if I'm getting used to it being in one slot, then it changes to another when I buy a new one, etc.

Yeah, I completely agree, either this is a bug or it's just really really bad logic. I get so frustrated with those two items you mentioned, HoL and Wand of Speed. For example if I'm running away and activate HoL, sometimes my Demigod turns around and tries to attack someone and inevitably takes damage. And the two main uses of Wand of Speed - chasing and retreating - are made almost impossible because of this issue. By the time I've realised I need to retarget after activating, the fleeing D
I think this is a good idea... except I don't like his name. 'Barton' just seems kind of generic, seeing as he's an ancient god wielding spiritual force (which is a really cool concept). What about something with a Sanskrit influence, seeing as that was the language of ancient India when the concept of Karma was created? Some name ideas: "Samsara": Karma is the energy which drives Samsāra, the cycle of suffering and rebirth for each being. "Naraka": Naraka is

I love being Regulus with Ashkandor when game speed is set to fast. It's like firing a machine gun at a crowd and every bullet hitting someone in the head. And once I saw a 4k crit from a normal angelic fury attack, I think the crits from Slayers Wraps and Ashkandor happened simultaneously or something...?
When he reaches level 20 does he attain enlightenment, transcend the karmic cycle, and become a Bodhisattva, dedicated to his never-to-be-extinguished desire to save all his fellow beings? Sorry, I'm studying Buddhism atm ;)
This isn't so much a 'problem' as a 'gift'
Haha true. I'm just not sure if any favour points are getting added on permanently, and don't know what happens if I want to buy an item... it might disappear when all the extra points go away?
I've noticed another similar problem: on Regulus, UB, LE and Sedna I have all the achievements. But on the other four I have nothing. At first I thought it was occuring on my most played characters (Regulus, UB, Sedna) but it can't be that cos I haven't played LE yet.
It's kinda annoying, I thought the favour thing was fixed, but it seems like a lot of people might be having problems.
