A good Rook is mobile, even without his forest of Towers. The basis for your guide is sound, assuming that the Rook capping key flags, his team mates are retarded, and you've an organized group. Some Demigod's can win 2v1 scenarios. Some Demigod combos can do great against 3v2. Below is a copypasta of my miniguide to stop a Tower Rook. It provides scenarios for different time frames occasions, not just one locked down attempt. Mini Guide. How to stop the Towering Rook: <p

I'm going on vacation to Vegas for a few days. Thus I'm going to leave some notes here that I will edit into the guide later: -stats/debate info on armor versus health regen -states/debate info on + magic regen versus % -cliffnotes to Demolition Man -weaknesses (late game and other Demigods) -strengths (fast win, citadel upgrades, items only if you can spare)
I have never rage quit. I have played many 1v2's, I've seen victory turn to defeat and I've pulled horrid losses into epic wins. Every rage quit I've been partnered with has been because either we were not doing well or because the other team was a member short. For those rage quitters, you may as well play it out. If that fails, you can just suicide feed your opponents. ;) Seriously though, play it out. Win or lose, it's a game, no one wins all the time.
Motherboard/PSU are 6-8 months old, if that. I'll try your suggestion out when I get some free time. I just got back from work and I don't want to risk having to wait an hour before my computer will turn back on. As I said previously, when I reapply the heatsink (after cleaning off and reapplying thermal paste) 75% of the time it'll load up immediately. The problem is not No Power at all. The mobo lights up and every single fan spins including the processor. It's just th

Yeah I saw the strat. I made some suggestions commentary. I liked a lot of what he did for his deisgn guide. Inspired me to make more commentary on different gear and Demigod math. Boulder Roll I may incorporate into Demolition Man but I'm keeping my sights clear on the goal. Building destruction, flag snatching, holding the line. Some games I chose Trebuchet before Drain and I regretted it and vice versa. Depending the enemy skill, popping that extra point for a stun has merits and flaws.</p
There is only one Demigod who can handle towers easily at levels 1-3. That's the Rook. :)
that makes absolutly no sense. how do you figure "swapping" your system components from one case to another set your drivers to windows default. the drivers are installed in the OS on the hard drive...without reinstalling windows or uninstalling a device (such as your video card) in the device manager the OS would keep the same video driver active. unpluging a drive is not enough to get windows to change configuration/registry
Sometimes the game loading screen can get upwards of a minute. It's just frustrating.

The reason I get Pelenor over Vlemish however is not the actualy regeneration however, it is the max mana that counts for me. The extra 500 mana a battlecrown gives is enough to use one more skill, and considering the rook has quite a low starting amount of mana (880, though it does grow with the levels) it is a significant boost. Seeing how your math goes though, Pelenor is quite ba
I'm not sure I'd use Structural Transferance... Rook doesn't have much mana to work with, so casting a tower, transferring on it, then casting a second tower (since the first may well have died) is gonna strain your mana even with a ton of +mana items. Gaining health another way is gonna let you get a lot more combat items...
It doesn't. With on Vlemish Faceguard and Scale Helm, it can be done a few times. Add Plenor Crown
I appreciate what you're saying...but I'd think the boxing cost nowhere near 1/4 of total retail cost. Or...at least I'd hope so or Demigod is doomed for failure. Can you imagine the design team: "We need to spend at least 25% of total development costs on the BOX!"
Nothing to do with design team. It's marketing. They now have a CD that is wortheless. So they wasted money manufactering the product,
I completely agree with the maths but with just Vlemish and Scale I run out, with Vlemish and Plenor I've ran out only once or twice in a very drawn out heated fight, any of the others increase the monetary investment for nearly no further gain...
I merely meant, if you're going to get both, get the Vlemish first as it will provide you higher mana regeneration than the Plenor by itself first. I then replied that one major source of problems was the self-appointed "bouncers" who dish-out cheap sarcasm & petty bullying against people who are not satisfied with DG or SD. Reading this (too) lengthy & thrashy thread illustrates my point.<br
Thank you for referencing COD4 so I can go from there. You are totally wrong. See, in COD4 slightly more damage or slightly more penetration, or slightly more accuracy give you a slight edge. 15% bonus move speed at level one give you an ENOURMOUS ADVANTAGE BECAUSE IT IS NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE TO RUN AWAY. I'm using caps so it stands out. See it? This is unfair AT THIS LEVEL. I think the Swift Anklet is great. I love it. But it is unfair to be abl
The hell is wrong with you? You have some need to degrade some people to make yourself seem smarter through a video game forum? I don't see anyone here screaming nurf towers or stating that they are OP. Go rub one out, you'll feel less pathetic.
It's called hubris, superiority complex, and a day off from work. I've answered your question, now answer mine.
Another example. Rook mana regeneration at level 20 is 8.242. Vlemish Faceguard gives +11 and +4 mana per second. Combined with a level 20 Rook that's 23.242. Plenor Crown gives +70%. 70% of 8.242 is 5.7694. That gives you a total of 14.0114 mana regeration. High percentages are misleading. They're only effective when your base mana regeneration is high. The math changes which each Demigod as each one has different base and raising mana regeneration rates.
Read it. I approve. It's a differing style from what I prefer but it can work. I'd make a few recommendations and leave it to you to decide if the logic behind it is worthy or faulty. Vlemish Faceguard first. The rooks has a 2.77 base mana regeneration rate. He gains .2888 per level. At max level that's 8.25 mana regeneration per second. The Vlemish Faceguard at level 20 will give you a total of 23.25 mana per second whereas the Plenor Crown will only give 14.05. For a character like

I'd like to see a chat box window for all players in the game with their names in a list during the map loading sequence. This way you'll have an idea of who you're entering the game with and if it does take a bit longer than usually to load the map, you can chat with your buddies at least to confirm whether it's lag or they just could not connect.
