Why would you nerf an item that only works if no one is attacking you? Albeit the idea of using Defiance then Life is somewhat unfair, Life only works if you aren't taking damage. I.e, it's totally useless in any situation except one where you are running away and no one is chasing you, or you've already won the fight so it's kind of irrelevant. Regulus has 1 direct damage ability, the fact that it has a massive range does not excuse it for being a 1 trick pony. There are much better classes for quickly burning down demis and Regulus is not one of them, due to direct damage skills not being mitigatable. Honestly, if you've gotten your Reg to +50% attack speed and above, with enough +WD to hit for 300+ on demis, the game is basically over anyways.

You say the game requires no skill. Yet countless players are being dominated because they don't know how to build their skill trees. You seem like one of those people. Regardless of how 'complex' you think making creeps more powerful is, when you break it down, 'running in and hitting stuff' is kind of the point of any game in a very loose sense.

Looks like they're really good at farming CPU's. Don't judge a class based on how it plays against bots in Pantheon/Skirmish. Judge a class based on how it plays at the pro-level.
