Why no Boots of Speed? I really prefer the passive boost to speed rather than the limited burst from Wand, especially when quite a few people use Swift Anklet/Boots of Speed. Also on maps like Exile and Levi you can get away with just a starter 550 mana helm or no mana helm for most of the game if you form switch often and manage to control a delicious mana regen flag.

I just think of DLC as expansion packs, without the box. A lot of games used to have several expansions, which could get quite costly just for a little more content, whereas some were pretty good value. It's the same with DLC.

Well I'm pretty sure the huge win streak is from him hosting, and if he's losing ragequits before it ends so it doesn't count the match because he is the host. (Most of the top 100 in custom games do this [e digicons]:S[/e] ). I don't think he's hacking though, considering I've played against him a few times. It sounds like you experienced a split from all the other players, which seems to be something pretty random, it happens to me occasionally even when I'm host.

I don't think this will happen, but I'd like to see it. Most of the people I play with already use Xfire for Demigod because it functions much better than Impulse.

I play with friends mostly, I don't really know if just playing with whatever friends are on counts as pre-mades, but if it does I guess I'm very guilty of this. I sometimes try to find pre-mades to play against but it's often quite difficult to get them to admit they're a team, and only a few will admit it even when they're obviously a team. If you're just looking for something that's a lot of fun to play and don't mind minor but not gamebreaking bugs, go for it! But if you're into matchmaking and super serious play, like Butcher said, you might want to look elsewhere, because SD and GPG are gonna have to haul ass to sort out matchmaking, stats and teams in a timely fashion.
