Actually they seem to spend all their money on citadel upgrades, especially PRIESTS.

While I completely agree about the enemies items, I don't really understand why no ally health/mana, especially when the only in-game communication is text. #1 First off, there is no voice communication included in the game. Just because you jumped on vent doesn't mean randoms can. And you REALLY think we should have to stop to type something out in the middle of combat? In almost any game this will often result in you or an ally killed, not everyone can type all that f
I just try to avoid FR/RUS/GER etc because often they don't speak English which is a pretty big problem, I don't think most people putting it in the name are going for that country only, it's just so people to get an idea of ping before joining. Also if I want to join a game with other people from the EU instead of US players I have to restart Demigod without /serverproxyonly unless I want to play with 350 ping to everyone, so having it in the game name helps me o
Well I tried out buying Mageslayer first, but I ended up selling it for HoL. [e digicons]8C[/e] I couldn't hold up to the Sedna on the other team with it, and if Ice TB showed up it was game over because I could not escape or heal in shield, not to mention that I was constantly out of mana for penitence. Once I swapped it for HoL the match seemed to turn much more in our favor, and I got many more kills because I had mana to penitence. I guess it would work well against people
Quoting IllegalDustbin, reply 8Sometimes something similar to this happens with Regulus, if he is faster than the enemy he will run right up to them while following and autoattacking, then he will just stop once he gets really close and stand there. Possible you mis clicked, and issued a move command to next to the guy?
No he keeps attacking and following, but will get closer and closer
If I have 50g left over at the start of a match I always buy one, being able to see an enemy before they see you is a huge advantage. I tend to not use it so much as the game progresses though, because my useable slots are usually taken up by HoL/Locks/Teles etc.

I think my favourite overall item is probably Heaven's Wrath, it generates so much gold by grabbing assists and tagging creeps. These are my favourite per-character Regulus : Heaven's Wrath Rook : Heaven's Wrath Torch Bearer : Swift Anklet Unclean Beast : Blood of the Fallen Queen of Thorns : Cloak of the Night Sedna : Cloak of the Night Lord Erebus : Horn of Battle Oak :
Played him, hes awful. The majority of the game he would bat swarm into fights(lolwut), get a bite off, then mist. This is completely ineffective because I would just run out of mist, HoL, get another spit on him and hed have to run away with 4k hp only having done 750 or so damage. It was a 3v3 on prison, he never even bothered to steal our ports when we bought giants(Far too easy as Erebus on Prison). &
1. +15% HP flags/Late game portals 2. EXP flags and Gold flags While cooldown flags are pretty nice too, they're usually harder to get to or are easily retakeable.
Usually when I play Rook my skills look a lot like this, except I swap Power of the Tower II and Hammer Slam II, mainly because I feel just 2 towers isn't enough to save your butt from a HP stacker or multiple DGs, so I feel they need more priority at lower levels.
I think the award system should be seperate for each team, so one person from Light and one person from Dark can get the structures award etc, this might encourage people to stay and play well.
Personally I'd like to see the HP restoration from HoL completely removed, or put into a seperate item, and for the price to stay the same. If you can get out of the enemies attack range you shouldn't be able to full heal and turn back around in 10 secs.
I like to play against pre-made teams, because it generally means I will have to play better if I want to win. And how do you define a pre-made? Several times I've joined a random lobby and been surprised to find 2 or 3 of my friends are in the lobby too, and on my team. (yes yes I know PRE-MADE, but a lot of people seem to think playing with friends counts as this too)
Shrink of course, the game was released unfinished and not fully tested, and a lot of the updates coming out don't seem to be tested either (If they were how did a bug as obvious as the UB path finding one get released?).
If my teammate takes Heaven's Wrath and uses it to farm two lanes, it really pisses me off. When you do this, you often deny your teammates the gold (and sometimes the xp as well) that they would normally be getting for holding their lane. You're basically hurting your teammates to help yourslef, and IMO it's a totaly selfish dick thing to do to your teammates. This is, after all, supposed to be a team game, not a "look at me, I am
Ooh, you learn something new everyday. Read down to the Oak part [link]http://forums.demigodthegame.com/352218[/link] Guess that explains it, had no idea Oak's death effect reset ally cooldowns.
We did an 4v4 all Oak clan game yesterday, showing love to our mascot. Penitence stack is OP. Would love to have more people join, could have been a 5v5. As a note we generally all play in the same voice chat channel. We dont split off into separate teams in different channels. We feel it adds to the fun of the game to all be in the same chat and have friendly trash talk/strategizing.
This has been happening to me too recently, it will often not appear at all and still go onto cooldown. (I can confirm it's not just invisible too because the enemy still caps it) Or sometimes it will appear for like 10 seconds and then dissapear far too early.
This started happening to me just recently too, very few problems before, and never lag in-game caused by me. It doesn't seem to be related to the amount of people, it sometimes happens in lobbies with one person. It makes it very hard to get a game if it decides to spike a lot when I join.
You can also get "Wrath of God" favor, it's great for exping and occasional kill on low hp enemies.
I highly reccomend this item too, although I think it's actually called "Heaven's Wrath" [e digicons]:P[/e] . On maps where creeps bottleneck before they spread into their seperate lanes you can gain tons of levels by just killing them all with one blast (Cataract and Exile come to mind). It also effectively adds 250 damage
Ok so just now we were having a 4vs4 all Oak match for fun, and well this weird thing was happening, 90% of the time when I'd pop my shield on myself it would be useable again as soon as it ran out, no cooldown at all. Now I'm not sure if it was the fact that 3 penitences were hitting me all at once pretty often, or the fact that I was getting shielded by allies sometimes too, but it seems like a pretty serious bug, especially if it's not just related to having 8 Oaks.
I try to stick around to the end even if my team is doing badly, unless I'm the only non AI left on my team then I (usually) bow out, occasionally there's some great matches where one side sticks around even though they're losing hard, only to make a huge comeback resulting in a lot of fun for both sides. If you quit as soon as you get spanked by the enemy perhaps you shouldn't be playing a pretty competitive multiplayer game?
