I am experiencing this too, I can't really get any games going now because there's almost always one person I cant directly connect to, so instead of proxying it now hangs whilst connecting, and eventually gives me the failed to connect to NAT message.
ItchyDustbin
I use it quite often as Oak if my spirits keep getting nuked and I don't want to park them out of battle, but as any other character I don't touch it.
Team chat in the lobby would be pretty nice too, so if you're playing with strangers you can propose demigod combos to them etc.
Btw, noticed a user name "Kei-Chan", hope the forums don't get flooded with weaboos from 4chan, he or she? had a valid post though, while im completely off topic.
This is GPG's and Stardock's first multiplayer centric title so give them some time.
They've had a whole month and a beta to get the main feature of their game working, the multiplayer. And it's still not working properly for quite a big portion of the people that purchased the game. It being their first game centered around multiplayer doesn't excuse not testing their main feature thoroughly, or taking so long to fix it.
I get this too, it's quite infuriating when the same people you cant conenct to keep being in every damn lobby you try to join.
I don't really understand the increase in favor, 10 times? Really up to 1900 favor per win? So basically everyone will have every favor item within a week? I think it'd be a better idea to fix the bugs causing people to not gain any favor at all, rather than increasing the favor gain to a ludicrous amount for the few that still do gain favor.
Connection issues. Connection issues. A huge upgrade/overhaul of the UI or just make it moddable. There is way too much important information it doesn't display, such as HP/Mana in NUMBERS, allies health/mana, minion health etc. Remove people being put into a lobby before they are connected to everyone, this leads to people unwilling to leave a game lobby because they think they may still connect to the players even after a large chunk of time. Did I mention co

Every week, I throw out the hope that "The proxy stuff is coming, then you should be able to get through. Then you can finally play." This is the third time
Bulwark of Ages, with the huge defensive boost of 25% global damage reduction you will have to heal yourself much less often allowing you to keep more allies alive and you will be a complete pain to finish off.
On another thread, Stardock CEO, Mr Brad Wardell (forum-user "Frogboy") recently asked what kind of "community" we wanted to build on the DG Forum. I then replied that one major source of problems was the self-appointed "bouncers" who dish-out cheap sarcasm & petty bullying against people who are not satisfied with DG or SD. Reading this (too) lengthy & thrashy thread illustrates my poin
I am getting this too even with the 6000-6200 range of ports forwarded, and after setting them in ImpulseReactorOptions as well, haven't gotten into a single lobby in beta where I connect to everyone (or more often than not I don't connect to anyone at all) whereas in the release version I can at least get into and
I can say that Erebus has one of the longest warm-ups in the game for his Mass Charm. I think the only slower effects are the Tower of Power and Hammer Smash. I believe, it's just over 2 secs. Learn interrupts. Certain attacks will trump others. Knowing which attacks can "block" another is important. When an attack is interrupted, I believe the mana is spent, the ability is activated and must cool down.
If they are playing well there really isn't alot you can do except stack health/movement items to try to escape the initial burst of damage, stuns and slows into towers, even sticking with a teammate isn't often viable, because the self heal from Foul Grasp and Bite will usually allow both Erebus and UB to escape alive after firing all their burst damage/stuns on one of you likely securing a kill. All Erebus has to do is Bats in out of fog of war and hit Mass Charm,
I am HAPPY with the design of the game, the details on the Demigods and some of the maps is pretty breathtaking, and I love the backstories for each Demigod. I am FRUSTRATED by the awful UI both in-game and in-lobby, it is way too simple and misses so many little things that could improve gameplay, people shouldn't be having to mod in simple things like numbers onto their mana/health bars or a clickable mini-map, they should of been in the release. <
Do you not have a very hard time finishing people off with level 1 Penitence (Wand of speed doesnt make up for burst ranged damage and slow, especially if the enemy runs into towers)? My build I use for Oak is very similar to this except I put ranks into Penitence instead of Morale and only one rank into Divine Justice because I don't feel 10% is worth 2 skill points (that could go into Penitence for example), mainly because with the gold you get from being able to finish off low health runne
I think against 3 of any identical Demigod you're going to have a fair bit of trouble. Especially if they are working together and covering each others weakness/skills.
I'd like to see this, because if one of you has say 6000 gold and the other has 2400 you can't get angels and catas if you'd like to, because you cannot trade the gold. Well I suppose you could if you bought a 3k item dropped it and the other person sold it, but I'm not sure if that even works and an enemy DG could ninja your item [e digicons]:S[/e] , not to mention the gold you lose on the sellback.
The most important thing is telling them that you're new/not that great before the game so they do not rely on you too heavily, and will most likely give you pointers / organize the team more because they knew beforehand. Coming out and saying it halfway through a game is generally a bad move and will often get bad reactions from your allies.
Oaks and Erebuses (Erebi?) with armors/HP items pushing them over 4-5k HP give me the most trouble as QoT, because they both have a fair bit of burst damage and good staying power, which means they can harass your shield down till it's on cooldown without getting too low on health. Especially Erebus because he can heal with bite even through shield. Both these characters can usually push me into retreating pretty fast if none of my teammates show up.
Most full fire TBs I've played with don't seem to do nearly as well as the ones who take skills from each side, or the full ice TBs either, mainly because so many of the skills from the ice tree are beneficial to a team, whereas fire is just damage and creep control.
It seems more that players quit over having to respawn a few times rather than the general tilt of the match, I've had people quit matches after dying 2-3 times in a row even when their team was clearly winning by quite a lot.
Trebuchet is important to get because it upgrades damage from the rest....
Ohh, I had no idea the shoulder upgrades gained damage for the upgrades after them, does poison arrows increase it too?
Just because something doesn't scale well to end-game doesn't mean you shouldn't use it, the skills that are great start to mid game are the ones that will be putting you ahead of your opponents and getting you kills or forcing them back to base, a few early kills/denials of experience and flags can win the game, rather than planning for level 15+ with TWO artifacts and being sub-par till then, punish your opponents during early game instead and win before the game even gets that far.
