those things only cost 250 gold
They cost 500. I use a lot of universal gadgets but i usually use them the opposite way (ive gotten a kill or 2 with them also). Ill stick with a partner and heal them if they get in a bad situation. Also, you can heal yourself with these.

I dont see many people playing sedna but a good 1 can be very beneficial to the team. As for Oak, during late game (with the right build) he usually just demolishes everything as to where sedna becomes extremely difficult to kill. So i would choose sedna for helping team and oak for kills. Both are very flexible in strategies though.

A good pair against this is a TB using ice nova to freeze towers and a fast helper to run past frozen towers and avoid being stunned with boulder/getting hit with hammer. Either way after you get to a high enough lvl to where the towers dont bother you the rooks will be at a disadvantage. I had this happen to me in a 3v3 and i was eventually just chasing the rooks through the towers.

The good way to use it is to rush in the battle with it or kill escaping DG, not to flee. Mist is good so you can wait for cooldowns to come back, that's all.
Yes that is the best way to use bat swarm. I said that in my guide, but i was just making this point about mist. But you have to realize that if you sit there in mist your giving your opponents

Just a quick note to everyone using mist: erebus is strong enough to take down any demigod.. All mist does is drain your mana and the other demigods will just not walk in it. Now to those of you using it to take down waves of enemies... ESPECIALLY in early game, the waves can be killed by autoattack in no time. Just hit lvl 5 and grab bat swarm and then you can kill the upgraded units easily too. I personally find no help in mist, even if your about to die bat swarm is the best means

Here you go virid...my build. The general idea of this build is to be able to kill some1 if they try to escape while keeping yourself alive by stealing health. If someone runs away simply use Bat Swarm to a place in front of them and bite them to finish them off. I buy items to give myself a lot of mana so I can steal health and stay in battle as opposed to running back and healing. Skills: Level 1:Bite I Level 2:Improved Conversion Aura I Leve
