It's not about swearing, it's about having to put up with bullshit trolls talking about stuff that has no business in a public forum. And I don't care if they are good people and good players. It's not my job to have to put up with their crap. They act like kids in the chat feature where there is no way to filter them out. If thye want to talk about stupid shit that has no relevance to the game, then they can do so in a private way, but not in the public chatroom.</p

He was online, he was in a game, his tag was in the chat feature. If they aren't going to monitor it then their tag shouldn't be in there or they should just say right out that they aren't going to. I play games to relax and have fun, not to be subjected to filth. I am not offended, I just don't like to waste my time reading that crap when I would rather read ideas on the game or something that doesn't consist of some prepubecent childs wet dreams.
There needs to be a consiquence for people talking about innapropriate stuff in the chat feature. There were a couple of users who were talking about dildos, and were saying stuff just to upset people who were trying to chat about the game. The users were Belier13 and Apika. I find that without any sort of ignore function or way to not listen to their crap other than to not use the chat feature at all then I have to stop using it. If I stop using it I might as w
Same thing happens to me. I joined a pantheon game, it was 2vs3 with 1 player on each team, the other 3 people dropped on start. I won the game, but online it says that the other guy on my team won the game which means it was a "server split" and so there were 2 games with the same players it just split us and I got a loss? Seems too much of a grey area.
[quote quoting="post"]It seems to me that people complaining about "rage quitters" are those who are playing these famously overpowered demigods, like Unclean Beast and Erebus. So, you are winning, why complain? If I choose Regulus or the Rook, and end up playing against a team with two Unclean Beasts, I know from the start that we're going to loose. If that game would have been a custom game, I wouldn't even have started it. But since it's a pantheon or skirmish game, I have no co
[quote quoting="post"]Stop kicking me. Seriously. 250 ping is NOT too high. The fact I live in Australia is not going to lag the game. See, this game uses magical thing called netlag. It means that anyone below 350 is, is going to well have 350 latency. This means 0-350 ping is going to give identical performance. The guy with 50 ping is going to be just as laggy as my 300 ping (and laggier if his comp or connection sucks). So, guys, stop kicking me. It just makes
I wrote out a long post, but I'll save anyone that reads this the trouble. Point: Pantheon Website didn't track my stats, it tracked my games for the Rokur tournament but didn't show anything except 1 game towards the tournament itself.
This isn't new, I am not entirely up to date on what they have and havent "fixed" but this isn't new. Atleast we aren't in the negatives on favor anymore though... Stardock should just be like "our bad, this is the beta...you have a beta cd and when we fix all the problems then we'll call it retail. Until then, just think of it as a beta". If this was a beta I would be ok with it, but when it's a $40 retail purchase its really testing of everyones patience.
Tutorial: Pick a character, kill stuff, kill other demigods, win games...anyone who puts this game into their pc, installs it, and knows how to run it should be able to figure out how to start playing this game. Multiplayer - The lack of depth of the game(which isn't a problem) means that the multiplayer(which is the focus) needs to be superb. So far it has been a disappointment for a lot of users. They say it's ~5% that are having issues with MP, well those 5% are also ef
I just posted about this as well...anyway, I agree, I see that it picks players, adds AI, players connect and if it's an uneven or 3 or less actual players in the match, the game never starts. For one, they need to add in a function that searches for more players to get atleast to 4 players minimum. Also, they need to add in AI after all players have been found/connected, i've seen games NOT start because there were 4 players, all connected, but the game wouldn't start becaus
One thing I have noticed when getting into a pantheon game is that it picks 4 players and adds like 2-6 AI while the actual people are connecting. This seems fine until one person gets kicked or leaves and you're left with an odd amount of players. Then the game just sits there and twiddles its thumbs. I don't know if it is trying to find a player to balance the teams or what, but it doesn't seem to be doing anything. Proposed order: Choose X Even # of player
If you don't like getting steamrolled, just quit? If it's a pantheon game and you want your measly 10 favor...just hide in a corner and let them win. The game isn't meant to have flash victories. Also there is something to be said for being cautious and sticking near towers and gaining Exp and grunt kills. I know that curb stomp matches are no fun at all, but if you don't play against the best you won't learn their strategies and how to counter them. You just hit
Seems like a noob idea, someone who can't handle more than one of a hero. Whatever though, as long as it has nothing to do with Pantheon and doesn't effect ladder for skirmish/custom games.
Let me guess, you played a lot of DOTA and wanted the choose any so you and your buddy's could use some sick hero combo and demolish any other team /flex e-peen? The idea of light vs dark is a fun idea, if you don't like it play custom games, if you want a ladder with progression for your team play pantheon. If you can't make that choice, there's always the choice to not play and let others enjoy it.
A)You can have up to 8 towers at a time if you get all the points into it. B)You can have up to 8 towers UP at a time if you place them every cooldown, or close to it. C)They should last longer to make B happen more often and make use of A.
I've posted this before, but here it is again. First 2 games I played I had my windows firewall on, my pc firewalled behind my router, and the matchmaking was quick and easy, no failed attempts. This was thursday at around 2pm. After around 4PM on thursday I started to constantly get "You have been disconnected from the NAT Facilitator" prompt. After watching the connection info for a few times of this I noticed it says this when I fail to connect to someone.
[quote]Wow. We've gone a long way into accepting broken games. The consensus on these boards when responding to someone who is frustrated because the game they paid for doesn't work the way the vendor TELLS THEM IT WILL ON THE FRIGGIN BOX is "shut up and stop whining". During a beta, it is fine to tell someone that, but not after they paid for the product. I've been patient, too, and actually purchased TWO copies of this game (one for me, one for my son), but I have to agree. I'm w
There are some balance changes needed, but the ones you suggest would be too much. Erebus's Bite is supposed to be a life drain, the snare and armor reduction are side effects of the bite. Like if you had your blood sucked away you would probably be a bit groggy and couldn't devend yourself as well(armor) and running wouldn't be so easy(speed). It's supposed to be there so his army can beat you up while slowed, or a way to get away from a more powerful foe or exchange the
I have problems with this as well. Starting from the main menu, I can navigate to single player and subsequent menues just fine, but multiplayer locks up for a good 20-30 seconds between menues and sometimes freezes completely and stops responding. My computer is just fine, I run far more system intensive games online without problems. NVidia 8800 GTX, Quad Core processsor with dual sticks of 2gb ram, YES my drivers are updated.
So I was playing a Pantheon game tonight, around 9:30 PST and before I joined it there was about 980 light and 940 dark DG's, when I came out to join another one, they were both up to over 2k. Anyone else see this?
So I saw this game in a store, thought it looked cool so I went home and read up on it. It seemed like a great buy, and at 40$ it was good for a new game. My serial number which came with the game didn't work, so while I waited for tech support to help me fix it I played a lot of nightmare tournaments, and went about 50/50. So once TS gave me a new serial number, I managed to play 2 pantheon games and had a lot of fun. Then came the "You have been disconnecte
