[quote quoting="post"]with all serousness - i bought this game since it really had some potential. it looks great and there is great depth in its strategy. unfortunately there are ENDLESS flaws in its connectivity: pings, lags, disconnections, hangs, and what not... i really tried to fix it with the help that you gave here in the forum. i did everything you proposed, and i did manage to get one decent game with good connection. sin

Find a picture you like, and make sure it's saved on your computer. There are conventions to be used; must be less than 40kb, be equal to or less than 100x100 pixels in size and be in an acceptable format - JPEG being the most common. Once you've got your picture, click the "My Account" link here on the forums. From there, you'll see several Tabs - click on the Images Tab, and from the Avatar section select "Upload Image", find the image you want stored on your computer. It might take

I wouldn't call myself a huge fan of the MechWarrior games - I hated the Xbox versions which didn't quite understand why MechWarrior was awesome - however I'd love to see another one. I still remember MechWarrior 2 blowing my mind.

Personally, I'm happy to wait. I'd rather polished and balanced Demigod added to a stable game, then horribly balanced Demigods added to an unstable game.

edit: Quote tags aren't working again. we're 3 months in, and while demigod is tons of fun to play, it's still essentially broken. Custom games work good (though in my experience getting a 5v5 can still be difficult), yet patheon and skirmish while perhaps not 'broken', certainly aren't working completely, the ladder is totally bogus, achievements just barely started working (or are they?) favor points were broken until yesterday. I agree with you that these ite

Sounds like Bat Swarm needs a Range increase to allow it's use to be more consistant.

I have to agree; it's a bloody crazy idea and would create some very interesting battles where using the map itself as part of your strat would be vital. However, I'm not even sure this is possible within the engine. Amazing idea, as always.

[quote who="SoFFacet" reply="19" id="2290902"]The ability to teleport is indeed an Erebus "perk," but imo was designed to be a combat tool allowing him to quickly chase and retreat, covering an amount of ground instantaneously that would normally take a couple seconds. The problem with the Crucible teleports, however, is that they cover an amount of ground that would normally take 20+ seconds to traverse (not to mention the danger of the normal path, or the fact that after the teleport you ar

I played a game on Cruicible a while back. I was Rook, and my team mates were another Rook and a Reg. I figured this was going to be an easy as pie match, however our Reg sat at the Health Crystal, waiting for the enemy to be a Snipe away from Death and then kill steal with Snipe. Now, this would be an acceptable tactic if he had of filled us in on what was going on - and if it was needed. None of the enemies were stacking speed and our towers were just destroying everything - if he wasn

I find Civ 4 to be, by far, the best Civilization game yet. I don't have any of the expansion packs, I'm eventually going to get the boxed set they were putting together, however it's a blast to play. It's slightly more simplified than Civ 3, however it's by no means dumbed down; just streamlined. I highly recommend it if you've enjoyed any of the previous Civilization games.

I think we can all agree if there is a single change that needs to be made, it's the addition of a Frog Demigod that resembles Mario in Super Mario Bros. 3 when wearing the Frog suit with the face of Brad Wardell. Dialogue should be comprised of one liners like "It isn't easy being green" and, of course, "Who let the Frogs out?".

Well, my post and several of the ones above it had very little to do with the Horse Armour DLC that was released by Bethesda for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. That was a piece of useless DLC. What we're talking about is companies striping down their titles on purpose or withholding certain complete features to give them something to release as DLC very, very soon after release while still charging full price for the original package. With this practice, retail packages are hurt by DLC,
