Your problem is drivers. It is well known that Nvidia are a fair bit behind AMD in the development of DX12 drivers, particularly with asynchronous compute, which with Nvidia drivers at the moment can cause stuttering. Ashes runs a lot better on AMD hardware. You are just going to have to wait for Nvidia drivers to catch up. Shouldn't take long though.
Thanks for the info.&nbsp
I've had issues too in DX12 mode, see the thread I started yesterday... https://forums.ashesofthesingularity.com/476540/page/1/# The game is fine in dx11...... Thank you for the replies.
Did you try DX11?
I tried not playing in DX12-mode, if that's what you mean. I'm assuming I was then playing in DX11-mode? To answer your question; it went pretty much as expected. In other games I've had where I experienced microstutter, it has always been an SLI/Crossfire-issue. So playing in non-DX12 -mode, (thus being unable to select the Multi-GPU -option in the Settings -menu.

I'm playing the game with all settings maxed-out, save for the Vsync-options - both of which I have disabled - and "AFRGPU", as I don't know what that is. Bugged Settings . The "Shader Quality Pull" and "ShadowQuality"[ sic ]-settings don't get saved; ( Shader Quality Pull staying at "Mid" and ShadowQuality being blank until I select it.) Performance . When you ini
