It was a good show....at the time. I saw a rerun of it like a year ago, and realized how cheesy it is. I've often wondered though, why an updated version was never made. If you want something that is similar to an extent, check out The Most Extreme Elimination Tournament on Spike TV. http://www.spiketv.com/shows/meec/

Yes i cant wait for the non-geeks to leave the industry. Not even for the money aspect. I know the money of the 90's wouldnt last forever. But I just despise having to work with people who can do the job that's laid out in the S.O.P.'s but dont really "get it". It frustrates me.

I'm a dog lover too. But to be honest.....cats are by far the most low-maint. Feed every day and clean the litter box every couple days. If you want to leave for a whole weekend, you just put out extra food and say "see ya on sunday"

You must have played UO in the EARLY days, it eventually got much better,....but is now down the tubes and geared towards young teens. Beware though...most of these new games suffer from the same problems. They're really addictive but they are based on content. They become repetitive and selfish. What happens is that the hard core players do most of what there is to do while most people still havent bought the game in the store. Then the game company r

I read/skimmed the "holy log entry" post when it was posted. Have to say it was pretty damn boring. Alot of references to people and places that the average reader would know nothing about. Was also kinda middle-school-soap-opera-ish. Then again, i dont know how old you are, I assume you're in college because of he meal card comment. This comment isnt meant to be mean, just telling you that.....yes, people read thigns you write here, but

I've been party of many online community gatherings. From the old BBS days, to modern MMOPRG's. I usually go to them i find them interesting. My criteria is that they have to be within a 4 hour drive from me.

I agree with most of this post, but I very much dis-like how the monsters of al-quaeda get lumped together with the monster of Iraq. That many people have no philosophical view that differentiates the two. That type of attitude rings of things the worst of men have done.

17 years of "faith"? Or 17 years of people telling you that's what you believe? Precisely why you need to question it, because if you dont....it's not really YOUR doing. Obviously though you have your faith because you still capitolize the "H" when talking about god.

I believe in my town the law is that you can have a perimiter of landmines, as long as you have a fence with a latching gate.

actually in China.....for centuries martial arts were practiced with authentic weapons. For risk of up-rising, communist china has made real weapons illegal and instead allowed people to practice with some watered down versions of their combat counterparts. For example....
